    Wrong. It is not officially recognized as a religious organization (as, e.g., the various christian churches are) but it isn't banned either.

    My experience is very different: When looking for obscure topics, I usually head straight to the English one since the German one is often the only one that does not consider the topic to be "notable" enough for an article.

    A system like this has been implemented for the German Wikipedia. Almost everybody who has an account can verify articles to be vandalism-free, unless you are logged in you see the last verified version by default.

    The webcam probably was already built-in, so they only had to install the software. A GPS device would have been more expensive.

    Gimp on Windows doesn't use X (and as far as I know, it doesn't on OSX anymore either.), but the native graphic systems (that's Quartz on OSX, I don't know if it even has a name on Windows)

    I'm not an expert, but what's the point of having separate downloads for frameskip vs. slowing down the game - is it difficult to make that an in-game option?

    They can't upgrade to much, because who is going to produce a DS++ game for 1 million handhelds instead of DS game for millions more?

    The same people who produced for DS instead of Gameboy, Gameboy Advance instead of Classic or Color...

    But in this case bash links against libc, not the other way. AFAIR, GPL programs can themselves still link against anything else irrespective of the library's license.
