The problem is, games are not about AI and flashy graphics, no matter how much money grubbing publishers want em to be. They're about friendly interaction with your peers. That's why more people use computers to play cards with each other than the latest flashy crap to come down the pipe.
That alone is why I really like games pre-PS2/GC/Xbox, I have not seen a recent console game have the storytelling power that those had.
It is really simple, no one country owns the internet and therefore no one country can stand alone in cyber warfare. I do think that it will take a long time to get past the politics around it being related to any government.
A story of time traveling robots, really should not be any good because time travel always screws up a storyline because no one can do it without making really bad paradoxes.
- It's not getting any better, the number of vulnerabilities [Microsoft discloses] continues to grow.
Meaning the ones they don't disclose grows until something like this looks like a bunch were found and fixed at once.
I dont think Incredibles was a bad movie, but now might not be the time with all the big name superhero movies, and if you look the Incredibles have their powers based a good bit off Fantastic 4.
I think the reason those numbers work for a free MMO is there is most likely a small userbase and doesn't take mass network resources. But WoW on the other hand has some high costs associated with a larger game. In the end its still not the same overall numbers but it might nearly be the same net profit gain percentages.
Whats interesting is in the high tech based society we have today, it really seems like nerds have the power just not any good use for it, and as such most do not go into a career into what they are really good at because of the negative undertones it has brought since we were kids.
That reason alone is why I like the vast nothingness of living in west Texas, you can see and actually use human night vision because there isn't anything around to be a light pollutant, downside being there is no major cities and have to drive nearly 40mi to work.
So features that are most likely going to surpassed in less than 14 months?
I still say you cant beat what functions, and its easy enough to carry around 3 devices, phone, camera, mp3 player, and have all that I use normally working much better and longer than any one multi-purpose device.
But is that the real numbers, ATT wanted to charge me $299 for a nokia that was easily worth about $50, I even checked online the phone was about $100 tops. I am sure Apple and ATT are both making some profit off this at every available point.
I don't think I would call it planned obsolescence...tech is advancing just that fast, and the products being replaced are NOT obsolete; they still work, and work well.
Only hardware goes that fast, software just gets patches, upgrades, and fixes. OS X and XP have been out for how long and are still doing fine?
I think if they pay the students for good grades, it would only be fair to charge for absences, bad grades, class disruptions and anything else that "inhibits" learning.
The whole world needs to grow up instead of looking for a scape goat.
Everytime the world tries to grow up in one area it takes a step back in ways we already had correctly.
It really just needs a happy medium on all levels.
Video games can be dangerous, but anything can be used as a weapon.
It is hard to inflict physical harm with a nonphysical object thou like a digital download.

But is the Pre a compatible device to Verizon's CDMA or will take some little change like the difference in T-Mobile 3G and ATT 3G?

Not totally out of line either, remember it was Disney and Pixar making the first ones, maybe something rubbed off?

Its the Apple fantrolls, and they are not fanboys because that assumes they are human and are some sort of intelligent life form.

The consumer gets a fair deal and AT&T and Apple make money.
Or just AT&T and Apple make money, no reason to be fair.

I bet any sales of product based business model will generally have a higher margin than continuous providing a servic
And thats why the Media Industries won't change with the times.
Reminds me of an ad i saw once for "The Myspace of Sex", my first reaction was, So clever ads for normal myspace.
Like being a musician, celebrity or well-payed sportsman? Yeah, because you need a lot of study for that.
That is a difference thou in book smarts, creativeness, athletic ability, and social knowledge, also you can not have all of them 100%.

I thought the american government had a group that does that and gives certifications, its the F.B.I.
"The main downside of course is if your cable company decides not to plug this service in you will have no way to subscribe."
So, about half the internet population heaves a sigh and says to themselves, "well, I guess I'll just have to go back to torrenting".
When would you stop torrenting?

This is NOT law; this is baloney. The RIAA lawyers wouldn't know the law if it hit them on the head.
I think it would bounce off their money umbrella and never reach their head at all.
