  1. Do we really need all the extra TB drives? on Seagate Hits 1 Terabit Per Square Inch · · Score: 1

In my mind not at all. I have 2 external 1 TB drives for my music in FLAC. This is more than enough and in my desktop 2x500GB drives of which I run some very hungry programs and I can tell you that is more than plenty for me. SSD drives are good and that is the way I am going in the next few weeks. Therefore does more really mean more, or is that more headaches when it comes around to data recovery?

When you plead guilty to a crime in the UK, what you are actually doing is acknowledging all of the prosecutions evidence to be true even though parts may not be factual. Sadly this is the way the British legal system works and one is encouraged to "Plead Guilty" for a third off the sentence in order to save court time.

This has a negative impact whereby some people pleading not guilty, go through a trial and then get slammed unfairly. I do not want to rant on about miscarriages of justice but even the Attorneys General Office turn a blind eye of what is deemed "within the public's best interest"

This young man was lucky with 8 months, he will be out of prison on an electronic tag after serving around 3 months. It is a great career move though as he will be hired... Lets just hope not by bankers!

The sad thing is, 99.9% of us here in the U.S. think this shit is disgusting, too, but they don't give a fuck what any of us think and haven't for a very long time.

Our government is wholly owned by a very select minority and their lackies. The "elections" are a sham meant to give the illusion of choice without the possibility of anything ever really changing.

I wonder how hard it would be for a U.S. citizen to get refugee status in another country? How bad do things here have to get?

The last I heard CI5 arrested this chap and he is now in custody without charge.

Nonetheless he is still being held in detention against his will. I sincerely hope that clarifies some questions of some people and is enlightening.
