I distinctly remember the GBC having better hardware than the GB but maybe I'm mistake. In anycase the "next-gen" nintendo console will be released when it makes sense to release it, and then Microsoft and Sony will have to bring something new out, whether its just more exppansions for the PS3/360. I have always been a Nintendo fan and I think they're doing more than fine, even if it is 2 years until the next console they release.
On a side note I bought my Wii not for the cutting edge graphics (ha-ha) or the amazing games, but for the virtual console and amazing backwards compatability that at least Sony completely missed out.
No I think it would be evil, what's more stopping people from "Jailbreaking" might be illegal under this hilarious new law. What's more is why even buy one in the first place? (I don't mean only iPhones with this question, I mean smart phones generally)
Cheers for the links! Unfortunately I can't apply for a UK provisional liscence since you have to provide your UK address(es) for the past 2 years or such. Over the summer I intend to try and get my liscence back in Belgium.
That's what the first Anon was suggesting you retard. If the damages are based on the MSRP value then that would be the ACTUAL damages rather than letting the MAFIAA demand you pay in excess of £100,000 pounds for say 5 illegally downloaded items with say a total value of £100.
Yes I know they were planning on a database and I believe I mentioned it in my post, but yes there were very many stupid things coming with the actual cards.
Whilst I didn't agree with the cards being biometric, because that's just another government database for some nonbody pencil pusher to lose data from, I do support the idea of ID cards themselves.
I'm a british citizen by birth only and have liver around the world. I'm currently at university in the UK but I live in Belgium out of term time where there are ID cards and until recently (last year I think) I needed to have one. It used to be merely a piece of card with much the same info as your passport, but more portable. I mean yes now the new cards are "e" cards, essentially biometric (not quite) and I don't even need one, but it makes things so much easier for me that I decided I might aswell get it.
My problem in the UK is that because I don't have a driver's liscense (yet) means that my only form of ID is my passport, which I don't really want to carry around on me the whole time incase I lose it/it gets stolen which is why I think ID cards would be a great idea but only if they're not biometric as the government already has enough data on us (and far too much to leave lying around on trains.....)
If they actually adverstised used games as coming with DLC that it didn't and they knew this then, yes, that's false adverstising. But since I'm not American and so have never been in GameStop I can't be sure, but in shops like Game in the UK they don't actually advertise anything, they just put the used games on the shelves and potential buyers are free to browse. Please correct me if its different in the US.
Not just by the Brits you idiot...it was the UN who voted to give them the land since the whole of the western world felt bad/guilty about the holocaust.
You know what he meant really and he's quite right too. People could dick with these connections by putting a piece of paper infront of the transmitter or receiver. This just sounds like a uesless idea.
As far as I know its to check to see that the business isn't conducting illegal transactions, and possibly the check my also look into the profitability and future of the business in question, but that's just me guessing.
I'm confused, I mean obviously this is bad, but what exactly will it mean? As far as I can tell after having read the article and the AACS page on WP, all I can say fo certain is that this means we will have to use HDMI cables connectors etc etc or do it illegally via SD or other. So could someone explain this to me a little better?
And you're ok with that system are you? Since when did it become the government's right to tell you if you know what's best for your own children? Given the education system in the UK if/when I have children I would at the least discuss it with my wife, since I believe I could do a just as good a job if not better one of educating them.
I suppose you are right, but still if someone merely doesn't want their child to learn something they don't want, they should have the option to home school them. Generally however, yes it is some religious nutter. I remember watching a show in the UK about a family of Jehova's witnesses or something that homeschooled their kids because they believe everyone else is satan or something retarded, but I think the reason for them being on TV was that their daughter of 14 or something wanted to go to school, since her parents barely let any of them out at all, which IS wrong.
This is a very sensible verdict frankly, because no other developed western country stops you from educating your children yourself, which frankly would end up with more focused and ambitious, albeit potenially socially awkward children.
You're an idiot, that's what e-journal sites look like and I'm pretty TFA is an abstract of a new paper.

Becuase they're fucking retarded and can't handle a touchpad?
My thoughts exactly!

..for America to finally invade Venezuela aswell then, since they can handily use regime change as a reason for it.

Calm down, as I clearly said I was guessing, I frankly have no idea what a compliance check is and your post certainly didn't clear the matter up.

an official that finally realises that ACTA is f**king rediculous and should never ever happen. This sort of restores my faith in politicians.
Holy fuck Batman, that was awesome!

Haha oh wow. Talk about over reactions from people with no sense of humour
about fucking time!

we're all going to end up as cosmic farts.
This could be good. If only you could use it in Firefox, maybe it's time to try out Chrome.
