From the download page, it looks like they're just offering a plugin that handles all the customization. Their download page points to here, and their plugin resides here.
Then I have to mention that I abhor the subsidizing of these private companies by using the money we taxpayers have used to create this network of weather sensors.
I think that was a blatant attempt for you to get more adviews on your blog.
But as to your comment, I don't forsee that happening. A company can already offer you money to link to their site from your weblog. This doesn't change anything. If you don't link, it would be exactly the same effect as if you used the new tag.
IANA-Financial Advisor... but if you're going to have large medical expenses, consider getting a Flexible Healthcare Account or one of the new Health Care Savings accounts. Although you'll only be able to pay medical bills with the money, you'll be paying with money pre-tax rather than post-tax. (Flex Spending Accounts are use-it-or-lose-it, and have a limit.)
No, something more along the lines of Polluter Pays Principle.
Microsoft's insecure software made spyware possible. Why should the end user pay microsoft again to fix the problem that Microsoft created?
(Or, why are we having the federal government pay for environmental cleanup of toxic waste when the polluters aren't being held responsible for the pollution they caused in the first place? [Not that I'm nessecairly opposed to environmental cleanup or anything like that.])
And lastly, there doesn't seem to be any evidence that Microsoft is making it a subscription service. I was able to download, install, and run the program all without signing up for a subscription of any sort.
I wonder if Microsoft were to sell a subscription "spyware removal tool" that they would be caught in the same legal shit that Ralsky is caught in (Infecting computers with spyware, then trying to sell anti-spyware programs that don't really work)
I mean, granted, Microsoft probably isn't deliberatley infecting users with spyware, but they're the ones that made it possible in the first place.
Actually, they use the same system, it's just that there's a "reserved" set of codes that are used for custom applications. Stores use this range for in-store weighed products.
He'll be appearing on the World Poker Tour's second Celebrity Home Game. (Actually, the appearance has already happened, we're just waiting for it to be aired. I think... unless I missed something.)
Presumably papers after 1923 will be added one year at a time as the copyright expires?
The Mickey Mouse Protection Act,(aka Sonny Bono Copyright Term Extension Act) tacked on an immideate and retroactive 20 years to copyright length. So, don't look for anything to be entering the public domain until 1/1/2019. And that's not even considering the likelyhood of Congress extending the length of copyrights again.
Coldest place on earth? They'll have to get past the Secret Service first... Dick Cheney's heart isn't exactly accessible you know.

Can someone explain why accessor and mutator methods (I assume this is what he means by "getters/setters") are bad?
My guess is that in some instances, publically accessible getter/setter methods can be construed to be "exposing the underlying implementation" of a class. Of course, that just means you need to judiciously use getter and setter methods.
That's my guess at least. I suppose I should read the book.
Actually, none of them are "orbiting" the earth. Wouldn't do much good to have them beaming things down in South America, would it? I know... I know, it's all semantics.

Thunderbird has a similar feature. It's nice not having images load in e-mails unless I ask for them.
Is anyone shedding a tear for the spammers?
*listens to crickets chirp*
Okay... just checking. Back to DDOS'ing.

Suse is a sports car inside a family sedan. Suse also has nicer kernels. Redhat Kernels are just ...
Just what? Cup holders?
If I were being snippy, I'd say RTFA, but I won't.

In large swaths of the US, we don't have the population density that lots of European countries have.
I'm not exactly sure that these systems are all viable over here.
There's no reason to be such an ass when pointing out an error.
There is a handheld power unit that goes with it.
It looks something like this.
And if I get modded to -1, you're going the same way, as it is not a "farking car module". Troll.
For reference, this is my Palm Zire 71 hard case in my hand. (I am not the hand model for the picture of the XACT, so YMMV.)
Sirius already has a handheld unit, the XACT receiver.
How small?
This small.
