    advocacy is directed to inciting or producing imminent lawless action and is likely to incite or produce such action

    Note that one of the major reasons for free speech is so that you can discuss overthrowing the government, but overthrowing the government is almost always lawless action!

    Read the Declaration of Independance for an example. The King would not listen to the people, so they appealed to a higher order, and rebelled. The rebellion was not legal in the King's eyes. Incitement to rebellion is definitly not allowed by Brandenburg.

    The only annoyance with PuTTY is that you have to change SSH keys into its format.

    TTSSH doesn't require that. But then again, it is worth the conversion

    RAID 5 works no matter what data is stored.

    For simplicity sake, I'll use stripes of one bit in the example below:
    1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 (9=parity disk)
    1 0 1 0 1 0 1 1 1
    0 1 1 0 0 0 1 0 1
    1 1 1 1 0 1 0 0 1
    1 1 0 0 1 1 0 0 0
    Now here's how the parity was calulated, in binary, for the first stripe:
    1+0+1+0+1+0+1+1 = 101 (keep only last digit) = 1
    Last stripe:
    1+1+0+0+1+1+0+0 = 100 (keep only last digit) = 0
    Now, if you cover any single disk, you then add up the remainders, and see if you get what the parity says.
    1+X+0+0+1+1+0+0 = 0 (parity of last stripe).

    Assume X=0:

    1+0+0+0+1+1+0+0 = 11 (last digit 1 != 0), so X must = 1.
    This also works with any groups of numbers, modulo the base system.

    The ICP Vortex SCSI RAID controller is a nice card, I've pulled upwards of 75 MB/s over 9 disks.

    I have a few extras, maybe we could sell you one. They are dual channel SCSI 160.

    I'd rather lose a week's worth of data than have my rsync run just moments after deleting important files.......

    (unless you use rsync --no-delete or whatever).

    Personally, I gotta have me tapes.

    Look into SDSL. I believe it requires a dedicated pair, but costs more and doesn't have a phone attached.

    What machine do you still use that isn't up to spec? OS X runs just fine on my 400 MHz machines.....

    And it is really worth it, trust me.......

    Look - they won't even release the latest version of iTunes for their last OS (OS 9), so what makes you think it will be available for 98?

    Times have changed, and Netcraft^H^H^H^H^H^H^HApple has confirmed, Windows 98 is dying.

    Actually, I know many Mexicans living in California, and I find that most of them don't really seem to care about the things you mentioned - they will try to speak English, etc.

    Often it is people after power that try to use them as a powerbase - especially in California where they are something like 40% of the population.

    But there are lazy people of every race, even some native born Americans!

    (Personally, I think the easiest way to fix these issues is to not hand out government dole in the first place, but oh, well....)

    Hmmm. Looks nice. Can anyone tell me if the feel is similar to a Model M? It would be nice to have a keyboard built for an Apple on my Powerbook instead of this Model M on PS/2 to USB adapter.

    As an aside, does anyone know of a PS/2 to bluetooth adaptor? That would rock.
