Except where the switch also functions as a breaker of sorts. Glueing it closed will not disable the breaker, but it will prevent people from resetting it.
GPS is a passive network that just sends out a bunch of timed pulses. It's up to the software on the device to figure out what that means and render a map for it.
For the record the only thing that doesn't work right with T-Mobile and the iPhone is the 3G data access. EDGE works fine. If this matters or not depends on where you are. Some places T-Mobile EDGE is actaully faster than AT&T's 3G.
Note: The choice of article is actually based upon the phonetic (sound) quality of the first letter in a word, not on the orthographic (written) representation of the letter. If the first letter makes a vowel-type sound, you use "an"; if the first letter would make a consonant-type sound, you use "a."
I don't know about the iPhone 4, but the T-Mobile G1 has a mechanical (probably magnetic, the way optical drives focus) autofocus. You can hear it when you go to take a photo.
This was so long ago and all the documentation I'd need are so long gone it wouldn't be worth anyone's time. I personally only lost 250$, and I'm no longer in communication with the people who lost more. Thank you though....Despite all this, I still send hundreds of dollars though paypal every week for work stuff.:P There just isn't a better option.
I think he's referring to induction charging like the Palm Pre uses. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inductive_charging
I understand you're trolling, but "freetard" hardly applies to apple users.
Did you RTFA... wait of course you didn't.
I've never seen any of the sockpuppets you mention post, but I see your retard drivel here every day. I think you're the troll.

This is why I am glad I have T-Mobile. They don't cripple the devices they sell.

So no, it is not in fact possible to have any sort of iPhone for a mere $200.

Whoosh
There are a surprisingly large number of rural areas in Japan.
Actually they never said it was a software issue.
Apple has tried to distract folks by both claiming at one point that it was a software problem,
Make up your mind yo. PS they did say it was a software issue.
I wonder if people on /. use "begs the question" improperly just to see if it will get a reaction.
PS it's e = mc^2, not e = mc2.
You're an idiot if you really believe an Atom will out preform a G5 processor.
I'm surprised no one else asked. What keyboard layout is the OP talking about?
As someone who has the blackberry bold 9700, I have no idea what you're talking about.

An HTML is correct.
MetroPCS will have them soon.
That's Tr-e-with-macron-o. Posting the word with no accent is more correct than posting with the wrong one.

What carrier are you going to put that on that doesn't require an ID or SSN?
You seem to be under the impression that not putting your name online will prevent anyone from finding it.
I've got about 90 proof right here.

Point taken.
