A 2010 study by researchers from Carnegie Mellon collected CPs from 33,139 websites and detected errors in 11,176 of them, including websites of Facebook and Microsoft.
No, it is not possible. Each restore has to be signed by Apple before the phone will accept it, and they only sign the latest version.
You can use a program called TinyUmbrella to store the signature and later go back to an old version (or if your phone has ever been jailbroken it might be stored on the Cydia servers). But if you don't have this info stored, there is no way to go back.
It also gives you a set of 10 one-time use codes that can be used instead of your phone. You can carry a couple in your wallet, or memorize one of them in case of emergency.
The question is do people really want the lack of personalization that anonymity implies.
Turn on anonymity and get google in a random language, based on the country of the proxy server you are connecting to google from
This really annoys me. I work in Swtzerland, so websites often send me to a German language (which I don't speak) version. Usually (but not always) there is a link somewhere to a French and/or English version, but often I have to jump through hoops to get a version I can read, even though my browser specifically asked for the English one.
It had been a long summer with lots of sunburn, so I wanted to avoid radiation from the scanner
What does having sunburn have to do with radiation from the scanner? I would have thought if anything the scanner would be preferable, to avoid someone touching the sore skin.
So you find it amusing that different people have different views? Isn't that completely normal?
Mutilate what? They just nip the tip to make it look bigger
What do you think mutilate means?
You can choose which extensions are allowed to run in incognto mode, in the extensions page there is a "Allow in incognito" checkbox for each one.
Surely they should say "viva la rivoluzione"
Then you got out your 8====D?

I prefer SW1A 1AA, it has a more regal ring to it...
Why would a web server respond with a GET request?
No, the french r is completely different, nothing like how english-speaking people pronounce it.
I think the autocorrect learns from what you type, so they may still be genuine, although I don't doubt many are fake.
It depends on the Canton. I believe in some Cantons the very rich can negotiate a "lump sum" that does not depend on their income.
MOD PARENT HOKEY COKEY
really? apart from the egregious mistake of not including a backtick on anything but one obscure email keyboard
Hold down the apostrophe key for a second or two, it pops up a number of different quotes, including the backtick.
I've heard about this new invention, it lets you continue sleeping even when it is light outside, I think it is called curtains or something.
Ahh OK, I think what confused me is that EM radiation outside the visible is not generally called light (except maybe UV and IR).
Since your light is going to have to be colorless, since it can't affect the silver halide crystals,
What is colorless light? White (but wouldn't that affect the film)? Black (wouldn't that just be no light)? Something else?
Probably just as soon as the list is on Wikileaks.

I tried to but it said I was unauthorized, so I decided to take the 404 instead, but I couldn't find it...
You can do that (unofficially) with many Canon cameras, have a look at CHDK
And while we're on pet peeves, it's also "than", not "then".
