  1. Heck, how hard is it to publish the collected works of Shakespeare, after all, that would actually be a legal way to get a large book to use. It would also be incredibly hard to rule out as legitimate usage.

  2. Did any of the Native American tribes even have a written language? I assumed that all the written language was sounds translated into Latin.

  3. If it were a satellite, it would likely be in focus. If you look at the video, the Earth, and parts of the ISS are in focus, while this object is out of focus. This likely means it is something close to the camera, a reflection off of the window (this camera isn't outside the pressurized area), or something moving between the camera and the window (like a hair or dust particle).

Maybe my eyes are going but it didn't look like it moved with respect to the camera, perhaps a small hair on the lens or floating between the lens and window? It looked like it was out of focus, like it was too close to the camera to be properly resolved.

If one party is incapable of supporting themselves, they are allotted a fixed time to get a job, after which there is no alimony payable or due.

This must vary by state, in Maryland at least, it is based on the length of the marriage. I have a friend who is forced by law to pay alimony until he dies, even though she took half the retirement money, he has to support her instead of retiring. All because she wanted out, he didn't want it to end, but she did. I believe they were married for 25 years. However, I who was married for 3 years (I think, don't feel like figuring it out) got the kids, house, car, and child support, because she was pregnant and it wasn't mine.

It seems like the primary thing in divorce is how much of a crapshoot it is. There are different laws in each state, and often they are anti male.

For music it might not matter as much though unless you care about the latest single. Was "Sound of Silence" by Disturbed exclusive on a service? Would you care?

I use the Amazon Prime Music in the car, and was happy enough with it to cancel my Pandora subscription, but I wouldn't much care of someone's latest song wasn't on the service, as it would get there eventually, and I have so much I can listen to, it doesn't matter.

For some, the Tivo is quite expensive for what they want. I agree however, the Tivo interface hooked to Amazon and Netflix is a great user experience, but I don't see many people spending $1k (Tivo Roamio with lifetime subscription) to watch Netflix. I do however love that I have my OnePasses setup for the shows I like, and can click on unrecorded episodes and get forwarded directly into Netflix or Amazon to watch the episode I missed.

The Tivo Suggestions usually contain a few gems as well, I have added shows to my OnePass just from that before.

I think his tin foil hat might be a little tight as well. It seems that the author's failure is in conflating support for people opposed to the rule of Assad with supporting ISIS. He must not realize that there are several organizations in Syria, not just a couple. There is also some stuff that appears to be supposition on why a case against someone was dropped, and taking it to a totally different level than anything that was actually released about the case. But, this is the way the Guardian works, they take a single document, and conflate it with every one of the conspiracy theories they can come up with.
