Also, Cell signals, as they are traveling at a low angle to the ground (nearly parallel) run into multi-path and more interference (trees, buildings, etc.) then do GPS from overhead. This has a drastic effect on the signal timing and causes most of the positional error. Also, you don't know the signal strength that is set on the tower, so timing advance can be rather tricky as well. You can get some accuracy, but there is only so much.

Is that why women are so comfortable shopping whereas men hate it? A woman goes to the mall to shop spends three hours, and comes home with 10x what they went to buy. A man goes to the mall, spends 15 minutes and might come home with 2x what they intended. Different personalities.

That he wasn't arguing and instead pointing out that your beliefs about churches are a little strange. Try talking to a religious scholar about your questions, most often they can point out where most of these things come from. I do however agree totally about the absolution of sins, specifically, Jesus came to teach us to talk directly to God about our sins, there is actually a interaction where he teaches his disciples to do this. I don't know where the Catholic church came up with the reconciliation sacrament, and have always had issues with it. Not having read the historical evidence of it, I would postulate that it came during the time of indulgences when the church would charge money for sins committed, and therefore it would hinder their money stream to allow you to be forgiven directly by God.

Adding quite a bit to tuition costs at that...what can the iPad do at $499 that a student needs over say a Nook Color at $250? Nook Color does books, web browsing, can run apps if you can find a way to get them on there. Maybe they should look into an agreement on a custom firmware from B&N, so they can put the graphing calculator and any other science apps that might be needed by a student.
