If bandwidth hogging was a problem the companies should take care to implement priorityschemes so their commercial interests can get through.
I agree with the first in this thread that bandwidth capping is counterproductive if there's even a chance that it can't be delivered, it would be better to have the choice of paying for guaranteed bandwith by size or getting a slower service flatrate.
The fact that the hardware today can't handle priorities is the same thing as shooting themselves in the foot for the ISP's since they cannot sell their network for video-on-demand. Hence, commercial losses is just fiction since they can't deliver those profits anyhow.

I don't know the state of the standard for hotsynching, but I guess the subject is complex enough to be left out of what's Bluetooth.
If it's emulating a serial link that's one thing since there is already an application synching to palm on the mac - but to get two "stupid" bluetooth devices to work together based on standards would be in a different league. But that's what Bluetooth is aiming for.

Oh, that - didn't I tell you that this is the alternative soundtrack, when the bad guy appears it's in harmony with violins.
Wow, cool!
Not really.

Actually this is the solution, getting performance by multiple processors could let you run at half speed, still getting enough performance. Especially if some important treads don't need to have a realtime os clamped to them to run.
On a larger scale you might not use all processors at once most of the time, giving you the most efficient power-saving technique possible.
my rule is an excerpt of a good poem or a paragraph in a book, using only the initials of the words and replacing them randomly by uppercase characters or similar digits.
even though I take great care of the password to my bank account, every other password has to be compromised by being recycled in other services with no inherited crediability.
My worries isn't in predictable passwords but in how my passwords from one site can be compromised and used successfully somewhere else.
I just hope that my habits never get that predictable.

Throw in ClearType, and you pretty much have print equivalent resolution.
Uh, no. Good quality print resolution is generally considered about 1000 dpi, although 600 dpi laser printers look pretty good. You can easily see jaggies with a 300 dpi laser printer.
Well, cleartype set aside, and doing a moderate etimation of greyscale anti-aliasing I'd say that a 200 dpi screen can be compared to at least 4 times the printed matter resolution.
At 800 dpi, you'd have to use 4x4 pixels to get 16 greyscales - and even if this is not literally comparable to resolution a tft screen handles 256 greyscales (16x16).
Counting just pixels, I'd still argue that cleartype at least will give you 3 times the horizontal resolution.
A larger affected volume in the brain would actually lower the risks, think of a magnifier and an ant.
Second, a more effective antenna could help in decreasing the effect needed to keep the link to the basestation and further reduce the risk.
But there's always the point that the "shell antenna" will be selected for cosmetic reasons, only proper testing will tell you which phone to select if you are concerned about radiation.

While they're at it there's a couple of more "free" as in software-implementable features to add:
1. USB audio profile, making it an extigy.
2. Small host software to select songs on the
connected computer using the jukebox.
2. Firewire external storage.
