Claiming that distribution sites are responsible for content posted by third parties is a tactic used by the RIAA and MPAA and their ilk. The FSF should be better than to do this.
This is the fault of whoever submitted the app, not Apple.
This is not "Conservative"! Using "Conservative" to describe this is like using "Hacker" to describe script kiddies, or "Canadian Goose" to instead of "Canada Goose". It's popular, but it's still wrong!
Conservative means a limited government with limited power to interfere in the lives of individual citizens; That is, the government has no jurisdiction over (and therefore cannot interfere in) gay marriage, abortion, individual educational materials, etc. These "Conservatives" want a large oppressive government to force their social and religious agendas on the citizenry; That is not conservative! It's the opposite! Stop calling it that!
I absolutely agree, Bruno Ganz's portrayal of Hitler was some of the best acting I have ever seen. It sucks that he can't get awards for it just because of the subject matter. (Supposedly they're scared that praising Ganz for his work will be equated to praising Hitler, which is a load of bullshit.) It's definitely top-grade work and he deserves high recognition. I very rarely buy DVDs but I went out of my way to get this one. It's well worth it.
At this very moment, I am trying to get a CADR talking to an ITS via Chaosnet. The ITS is on the internet and has been for the past several weeks, with a few of my friends poking around at it. (BTW, I hacked the SMTP listener to only accept mail for itself, so it's mostly safe.)
NO! WRONG! DO NOT DO THIS! The OS on fat PS3s in *NOT* on the drive! It's in flash memory! Even if you backup the drive, it does NOT back up the firmware! If you backup and then upgrade you WILL NOT be able to go back down in firmware versions! DO NOT DO THIS!
One of my eyes is misaimed with respect to the other, but my brain corrected for it subconsciously. I had never known about it. The condition was discovered by the optometrist when I was taking an aviation physical. They sold me glasses with a prism in the lens that corrects for it, it took a few days for my brain to get used to it. As an added bonus, a low-level recurring headache that was bothering me went away around the same time. I think it was related.
Anyway, I went to see one of those 3D movies with a friend and I was curious if the prism would affect it, so I did some experimenting. While wearing my glasses (with the 3D ones over them) the 3D effect works as it should. Without them however, it doesn't. The image appears to be flickering left and right and the position doesn't "fix". It looks like the old Sega 3D glasses games without the glasses.
The Shuttle is also still the only operating heavy-return-from-orbit vehicle. If we are manufacturing in space, we will need Shuttles (or Shuttle-like vehicles) to bring the products to Earth.
Even the Nazis got this right! With only a few glaring exceptions (most of which involved the SS) the Wehrmacht conducted themselves in a civil manner throughout the conflict and treated civilians and our POWs as well as could be expected. The Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine were similarly well behaved.
If even the Nazis are capable of conducting war in a mostly civil manner, we should be capable of the same.
Last week in Texas, three men with assault rifles attempted to ambush and execute a family of four to steal the rims from their SUV. Human life is worthless to criminals.
But see, that would be too transparent. It's entirely plausible to the average gamer for Sony to say "The RTC fix is incompatible with OtherOS, so we had to disable it, our hands are tied!"
These reporters will learn not to meddle in government affairs when they're behind bars for the next 50+ years for computer offenses.
Security is for chumps. Real security is sleeping well at night knowing that everyone else cowers in fear of your wrath.
Not many reporters are willing to bet their lives on a story, and those that are willing will be made examples to the rest.
Either the story dies or you do - Your choice!
Too late, the flight software source code and main engine plans have already been destroyed by the US government to prevent any later administration from restarting the program.
The problem is that all music is RIAA/ASCAP music. They have the right to collect royalties for anyone, anywhere, even you.
That's why all web radio stations have to pay performance royalties, even on indie or foreign music.
Why not? That's how the vast majority of "real" news sites work. They repost AP stories and add a ton of ads. Most news outlets don't have reporters of their own.
We're talking about invoking the law to end an argument, which is different. When you invoke the law to end an argument, you assert that the comparison is without merit, and if upheld, the discussion immediately ends, whoever made the comparison is forced to forfeit, and their opposition is declared the victor. (Or at least that's the "house rules" I grew up with)
That's because you only invoke Godwin if the comparison to Hitler/Nazis is unwarranted and/or unjustified.
Besides, my comparison is not between the Scientologists and the Nazis; I am comparing the relationship between Chamberlain and Hitler to the relationship between the governments of the world and the church of scientology.

FSF, Shame on you!

No, this calls for a touhou reference.

Hey, someone has to do it. Would you rather have more FP crap posts/ad spam/etc?
But see, that would be too transparent. It's entirely plausible to the average gamer for Sony to say "The RTC fix is incompatible with OtherOS, so we had to disable it, our hands are tied!"
"Quick! Find an excuse to issue a patch that disables OtherOS!"

DHS is responsible for the Security Circus, not the FAA. Please put the blame where it belongs!
Once again, Deus Ex predicts the future!

So has your father apologized yet, or are you still not speaking?

Or are themselves in high places.
