    Does anyone remember the days when Microsoft's contracts with system builders required them to pay something like $50 per box sold, regardless of what OS was loaded when it shipped? I believe they were eventually spanked (DOJ maybe?), and of course the practice no longer occurs, but it looks like they're hitting up the old playbooks...

    I had a stroke in my 20's that left me with very reduced peripheral vision on the left. Over the years a tiny bit has returned, which is probably the result of my brain doing some rerouting. I'm assuming this tech, once developed, could eventually help me. Wonder if my insurance will cover it... haha...

    Orlando FL location. It was under a transparent floor, and you remotely piloted little r/c trucks with lights and a cam from stand-up stations equipped with a steering wheel and CRT. Spectators could watch (and guide) you roaming around looking for lost treasure or whatever from above, while you drove the car. They had a lot of tech problems with the system, including some of the cars catching on fire, so I believe they eventually scrapped it. I played with it when it was working, and it was a lot of fun.

    One of the major complaints by the gov't was that some of the Afghan informers that were named will now be Taliban targets. Seems an easy way to flush out more Talibs...just set up surveillance on the informers, and wait for the rats to find their way to the cheese...

    Absolutely. The Goldman Sachs of the world like to say they 'provide liquidity' and 'make markets', but they really add no value to anything; they do exactly the opposite. Leeching billions of dollars out of the system by fraudulent manipulation and exploiting weaknesses is nothing more than legalized theft. Imagine where our economy would be if those vampires didn't exist....I am not an economist, but common sense says that wages would be higher and consumer prices would be lower, because that money would be more likely passed among real working humans, not computers and their corporate puppetmasters.

    . Over 1% two months in a row, we usually close the account. If the merchant doesn't pay outstanding fees and chargebacks, they are reported to an industry registry that will prevent the business entity and it's owners from being able to get a merchant account from anyone else in the industry.

    \ If this is true, there must be some rogue processors that work with the rogue software companies despite the chargebacks.

    If there is an expectation of privacy on public streets, then all public traffic/safety/security cams must be taken down immediately. What if Officer Dribble there was caught on one of those, if only inadvertently? Say I was watching one of those streaming cams on their DOT's website (not sure if they have any, but most states do), and I captured that video and released it to the wild. Does the state have any liability? Do I?

    Mod parent up, please...that is a great solution; why couldn't the Blizzards figure that out? Or maybe it was too much work to, you know, actually have to do some development to tie the game user db with the forum user db...
