    Since I infer from the tone of your comment that you view socialism in a negative way, and since I suspect you really don't know much about economic philosophies, prove me wrong by giving an accurate definition of socialism, and what you object to.

    Please refrain from citing examples such as the USSR, Maoist China, etc as none of them were/are anything but bully dictatorships.

  12. I saw this when it first came out, as an adult and fan of SciFi. I came away secure in the knowledge that I understood the point of the movie every bit as completely as Kubrick - which was not at all. Nice visuals for the time. A plot would have been a nice touch.

    There needed to be a test load. Instead of a lump of concrete he used an old car. No more dangerous, no CO2 emissions from making the concrete, much more interesting, and funny for those whose sense of humor is more evolved than bathroom jokes.

    Average and mean are exact synonyms. Median and mode are also words, but they are not synonyms to average or mean.
