That's an excellent example. Shame on this author and those supporting further government interference with innovation. If people want secure tech, companies will be happy to sell them that.
Look at the amount of bombs and missiles Trump is launching, and has no intention of dialing back the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Hillary Clinton would ramp that up even further. They're both war hawks.
Where the fuck is the anti war left? Why are you supporting a warlord? Look at what she did as secretary of state. She has the blood of millions of innocent people on her hands, and you want to give ANOTHER democrat or republican power?
Four times a day!? That's obscene. What a colossal waste of time. Even if the stand ups are only 15 minutes each you need ~15 on either side of each meeting to change gears. Assuming the meetings aren't back to back we're talking three full wasted hours per day on bullshit meetings alone. I'm so happy we've moved away from daily agile stand ups.
For many companies it does just work that way. The problem is many companies don't realize (or don't care) you need to commit an entire team or teams to building and maintaining your deployment utilities alone.
Free speech isn't held together in the US because the government is afraid of some redneck's armory of guns...
The gun toting crowd could be easily swayed into giving up their freedom of speech voluntarily. They were huge supporters of giving up their 4th and 6th amendment rights via the patriot act, and all the other related laws.
Everyone on slashdot turns into the grumpiest old man when the bitcoin threads roll around. It's actually kind of cool to see the push back against unstoppable societal changes in real time.
My 90 year old grandparents are both on this list...
They don't even own a computer, smart phones, or have an internet connection, but apparently they have very strong opinions about the internet's future!
>Has anyone actually tried to get $10k for a BTC? I'd really like to see someone post they actually cashed out BTC into US Dollars.
Yes. It's quite easy.
These past two years have been ROUGH without net neutrality. With all the... uhh...
Well when the telecom providers did the... uhhh.... the bad things.... with..
MORE GOVERNMENT CONTROL IS ALWAYS BETTER!
(This message brought to you by NN advocates and general government propaganda)
Bitcoin doesn't experience inflation. It's actually the opposite. There is a finite amount of Bitcoin.
Wait, the government is subsidizing an ineffective industry!? Now I've heard everything.
Wait you guys, I thought Amazon has too much money!? Surely you won't support a project of theirs that they spent said money on... right?

So are clothing ads, youth sports, standardized tests, etc. Everything can be "damaging to self-esteem, confidence, and general mental health."

I know, it's only up 700% from last year. So sad. RIP.
So you're shorting it then, right? No? Shocking.
That's a human rights violation IMO. You can't just deny someone porn and expect them to lead a healthy life.

Apple had the choice between limiting current draw, allowing the phone to crash, or changing the laws of physics.
Or allowing people to easily replace their batteries. God forbid!
[ ] Easily replace the battery
"they want people to get as much phone on time as possible in a day."
Cool, so they're going to do removable batteries?

I remember when you said this a year ago! And the year before! And the year before! ...

By that logic, not a single thing in existence is decentralized.
Nobody said that. The entire point of Bitcoin is it's wide open. Every single transaction is public.

Darn, now we're only at 1000% gain this year instead of 1200%. How will I feed my children?
That actually gets what?
Agreed. Just like US Dollars.
