We need a traditional processor because these are basically specialized floating point (and vector to some extent) processors. The majority of the work done by the typical user is going to integer kind of stuff. Or maybe I'm just biased, because I've been mud programming again. Anyway, point is, these types of processors would have to simulate ints as floats. It burns us.
The record labels will start circulating non-copyprotected promo disks to the stations. Radio DJs already get the CDs they spin on the air for free often. This would be a fairly minor cost for the label to pay, and they get to keep their copy protection scheme.
Pros and film people account for a small portion of adobe's market. It makes sense for them to devote more resources to the PC market, where most of its customers are.

I would like to note that bandwidth is measured in bits per second, not bytes per second. So the amount above is NOT over a gigabyte.
The example of the high school kid isn't really a valid one for 'malicious users.' The student wouldn't be abusing the system, he would just be trading MORE cycles for MORE mp3s. The lost processor time would be the responsibility of the administrator to reclaim.
I'd look into a celestron in the largest size you can afford. yes, size isn't all that matters in telescope design... for for an amateur, it lets you see more golly gee whiz stuff. Oh, and the motors and hand paddle are nive and all, but half of the fun is learning to find things by yourself. Plus that way you can afford better optics.
they would tell us. Sure, they would spin it to make it seem like they are improving email (at a price of course), but they would tell us. After all, they would have to roll out this system at some point, and they can't do that without informing the public. After all, no matter what currency they are charging you in, legally, they have to warn you in advance.
The discrete summation from a to b of f(x) is equal to the integral from a to b+1 of f(int(x)). Proof left as an excercise to the reader (break the integral over the interval, resolve to constant values).
I mean, it is obvious this thing wasn't really intended for a desert. I mean, the hacker in a box thing, and all the modifications to fight off crowds. We already had one story recently about drones being used over US air, and we all know about Tempest and Carnivore. I think it is clear that this thing is designed to either operate in America or other countries similarly structured, not against any target the administration is likely to publicly attack (i.e. 'heathen desert living primitive terrorist types').
but if you can shell out the cash for it, i'd recommend satilite radio (like XM for example). The selection of music is great, and you get artist names and song titles, so you can look stuff up later.
have any of these things really been creditible after the first one? ESR is once again leading everyone around in circles. ESR wants to be king of a new world order, but his problem is that there is no new world order. So he is trying to create a us versus them world, so we will all rally behind him.

And the foosball gestapo will show up and take you away, never to be seen again, if you get too good. Can't have you challenging the established foosball hierarchy.

Sweet, lord. What has he done with those perfectly good theories?

Hmm, maybe a dell keyboard would assist your typing a bit. In any case you seem to be having problems. Take a deep breath, slow down and then post.

There will be an XBOX 4. I'd stick with the modchips, kids. That said, good luck and way to stick it to them.
I bet they'll still be good eatin'! :}
*sigh* I'm sorry if I offended you. Since obviously this was about you. And not someone else.

So I can ask, so, how does it feel to not get laid for 7 years?
