Some people don't like them, but I've been using one for almost half a decade now and I've come to quite like it. Normally I use the one on a MacBook, but you can get them wired and wireless to use with PCs. I like the little wireless one, it has just the keys I need.
How are we liking EasyDNS these days? I've used them for years, but I have my main domain coming up for renewal later this year. It's a.com, I'm in Canada, if that matters.
Can't say I've been on much in the last 5 years. Someone mentioned a redesign, so I came here to check it out. Looks similar to me. (Or am I just seeing the old look n feel?)
Been working at a desk for 16 years now. For the first while, your body can handle it. After a while, you need to cut down on the snacks and stuff. After another while, even that doesn't cut it, and you need to start thinking about exercise. I don't nearly do enough exercise.
Steve Jobs did a lot, and got a lot of media attention. DMR also did a lot (and in some ways, a lot more), but understandably gets less attention. This is because the general public doesn't really grok Unix and C, while they understand Macs and iPhones. But I'm a programmer, have been for a long time. *I* understand DMR's contributions. And so I am sad to hear of his passing.
I was just thinking earlier today, what if Quentin Tarantino had directed the Star Wars prequels? Now that would have been interesting. It's got me genuinely curious what he might have done with the Star Wars universe and its films.
My city, the largest between Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal, still doesn't have a detailed satellite map on the regular online map systems. I won't hold my breath for a 3D rendering.
As I was sitting in the cinema last night about to watch Ep3, I was saying the exact same thing to my friend. I want to sit at home and watch this on my home theatre, and I'll pay for that so I don't have to drive to the theatre, get tickets, wait, and watch the film with idiots all around me and unable to pause it to go to the washroom. I couldn't bring my wife because someone has to watch the kids. It's just damned inconvenient.
I want a solution that will put a film on my TV, within a day if not within minutes, at a price between a DVD rental and a movie ticket. And I want to choose from a huge catalogue of movies, more than my local video stores have. I'm not interested in the latest Adam Sandler movie, I want to watch obscure foreign films and the occasional blockbuster.
Don't blame the lack of research, even on the net I still read conflicting reports regarding this TV. Some Sony reps still say it upconverts, when in fact it downconverts. How can research possibly have helped here?
Barjo is a French film based on Confessions of a Crap Artist.
Man Facing Southeast is Argentinian. It's not PKD, but is very PKD-esque. It was remade as K-PAX although the "authors" of the re-make claim it is a coincidental original.
There are countries like Canada, which helped make the first nukes, pioneered nuclear research, and yet do not aspire to have nukes of their own. Why are nukes such a big deal?
When I originally read the synopsis of K-PAX before it was released, I immediately said "Oh, they re-made Man Facing Southeast as a Hollywood movie."
Imagine my surprise when I later discovered the filmmakers denied this, claiming an original work.
The consensus is that they basically ripped off MFSE without saying so. Even though Blockbuster rented MFSE in their foreign section, I guess they assumed nobody really saw it. (I know they said they based it on a different book.)
In Red, there is a bit of a parallel lives thing going on just like in The Double Life of Veronique.
Basically, the young lawyer's life mirrors that of the retired judge. Little details, such as receiving a pen, or the books falling open to an important test question, are the same. So are the relationships with the women. One begins to wonder if it is mere coincidence, or if there is actually some connection between the two.
I found that element to be somewhat Dickian, although I'd say the entire movie in itself isn't necessarily Dickian, not like Man Facing Southeast.
C or C++, coded appropriately, can best fit technical concerns with business concerns.

I always say "car" anyways, not sure why, but it sounds good.
Of course I also got the P NEQ NP one just in case...
Wasn't all this covered decades ago in Dawkins' most important book?

Pilots are less likely to have boys, because radiation they experience while flying affects Y sperm more than X sperm.

I'll pay for it.
It does properly display 1080i.

Tell me about it. I got a 46" Sony widescreen rear projection TV, supposedly HD-ready.
It will accept a 720p signal, but DOWNCONVERTS it to 480p for display. This is only noted as a footnote in the user manual.
What use is that? We've been suckered.
The first? Not so.

I'm in Kingston too!
What kind of skills do you have? I started my own business making software for PDAs.
It's a decent book from the early 90s. Most of those rules are in there.

They blew off onto my wife's dress.
And they grew up in an urban area of Vietnam.
So think again.
I was just a few days ago pricing Photoshop CS. I need to buy it for my new business.
It's over $800 Cdn!
No frickin way am I paying that much. $300 would be more reasonable.
I'm just going to get Paint Shop Pro instead. What is Adobe thinking? I want to buy Photoshop, but I'm not stupid.

Diapers do a nice job of it.
