i'm going to go ahead and give a nod to what aldoman said, and also this:
they did not lie to you about static IP addresses, if they do it the way bellsouth does it. they assign you IP addresses, and you have to set the ip address yourself. if you just go with DHCP it will give you a nice random open IP.
chill, and don't knock tech support folks. they deal with more shit than you would want to know, and people like you just make it worse. like the people that start off the conversation with "i'm an mcse so i know what the problem is" when in reality, the problem is that they don't know how to configure their unsupported linksys router to work.

several people suggested that it was legal because HP has licensed iPod development from Apple... because the pictures showed an iPaq running the software.
ati just released an XF86 driver, not a kernel driver. only part of nvidia's kernel driver is compiled, and the xf86 driver most definantly isnt compiled.
the only good local music store here is called Dad's CDs, who has new music for 17.99, and used for a bit cheaper. There's exactly one of them. Then there is Cat's Music, who charge 17.99 per album.
Best Buy, on the other hand, normally sells for $11.99.
would you have preferred that i say "or, you could get a laptop with an IBM PowerPC 750 processor, an OS with good power-saving system, and a pretty white case?"
i'm no mac zealot. my main comp is a PC. i just love my iBook:)

i've always had good luck with memorex white labeled cdrs... they stopped making just regular cdr white labels, but the "music" ones still have them iirc. and they smell good:)
a schooner is a sailboat, stupid-head.
Google's press release is dated April 1, and has a bit of sarcasm in it ;)

well, in my room there is 1 coax connector, 2 ethernet ports, 1 phone jack, and probably 7 or so power jacks (though they are in odd places).
really the only thing we need more of is the power jacks... and the ethernet ports need to be on the other side of the room. o_O
one word: readability.
