To buy advertising on Facebook (as a small business anyway) you pay by card, and you register the card to your personal account, from which you manage your business's page.
In the world of electronics at least the trust is already gone for me; at this point I wouldn't buy electronics from Amazon and more than I would from eBay.
I bought a HP laser printer in 2004, but I rarely used it. Last year I donated it (sold it for a nominal fee) to my workplace to go in some silly photo booth machine that runs Windows 98. That printer's still working now.
we announced our decision to disable our message boards on February 3, 2017 but will leave them open for two additional weeks so that users will have ample time to archive any message board content they'd like to keep for personal use. During this two-week transition period, which concludes on February 19, 2017, IMDb message board users can exchange contact information with any other board users they would like to remain in communication
Ample time? Two weeks doesn't seem like much time to wrap up and move a community built over 16 years.
I stopped using AVG a few years ago (3 or 4 maybe?) when they started popping up notifications in the system tray that encouraged you to secure your browser. I accidentally clicked OK once and had my homepage and search changed to AVG safe search (in Firefox, IE and Chrome - it was very thorough). I uninstalled immediately and have found Microsoft's offering to be perfectly fine ever since.
I'm gay, and I dislike characters on TV that are gay-for-gay's-sake. Recently, the television series that has, bizarrely, most impressed me with their portrayal of a gay character is Brooklyn Nine-Nine. It's a stupid sitcom but it has its moments and it does a good job of having a gay character in its ensemble who is just like everyone else, except for the sex of their partner.
Why was there a 9 minute delay between the discovery and an ambulance being called? Surely the emergency services should have been called, by security, straight away. The in-house EMT could start to treat the person immediately of course, and may help to save their life, but the priority should be for someone to summon the emergency services as soon as possible. It sounds like 9 minutes spent assessing the person was 9 minutes that the arrival of a "real" EMT was delayed by.
My first experience with Linux was Mandrake back in 2003, when I was 16. I had to ask a mate to download the CD images for me because his street had ADSL and I was still on dial-up lol. Fun summer:)
One of the things about FM radio is it's so easily accessible - you can (in the UK at least) buy a rubbish FM radio from a pound shop - it might not be great of course, but it makes it a medium practically everyone can enjoy. DAB is comparatively quite expensive.
What do I want in my car? 4 wheels (plus a spare in the boot), pedals and a gear leaver (that are physically connected to the things they control), an engine, seats, windows that open and maybe a radio. Anything else is just something to fail or distract me from what I'm supposed to be doing (driving).
I'm not old enough to be a stick in the mud but I like having a car that is relatively simple and easily maintained.
I know none of this will help you sir, but I wanted to address some of these concerns for people in the UK, like me.
I've been running a home server for a while now (and recently switched to a Raspberry Pi, mostly for the power savings). Anyway...
For your Internet connection, I highly recommend Plusnet's fibre broadband, if you're lucky enough to live in an area where it's available. For £20/month (plus line rental) I get around 20mbps upstream. I've had their fibre broadband for about 6 months now without any downtime. They have no issues with me running a server, and offer a static ip for a one-of setup fee of £5 (which they say will make it easier to host your own website, etc, thus taking care of any worries about falling foul of their tos).
Their sister company just-the-name will sell you a.co.uk domain for £9/2 years.
In case you wonder, no I don't work for them, I'm just very impressed by their service.
“We are promoting good, clean, WiFi in local cafes and elsewhere to make sure that people have confidence in public WiFi systems so that they are not going to see things they shouldn’t.”
What on earth is good clean wifi? The wording here suggests that he thinks simply allowing porn is going to make it flash up on peoples' screens.
It certainly worked on me. I'd never heard of this shop before, despite living a few miles down the coast from it, but now I'm sorely tempted to pay them a visit and get myself some local cider to entertain myself with one evening (and possibly pick up an iPad while I'm there)
I was just scanning down the comments to see if someone had pointed this out. Reading the summary you would think Norfolk is a small village. Calling Norwich a town made me wince slightly.
"Ebay may be paving the way to auction off some of its businesses." I wonder which platform they'll use?

Just select multiple folders, right click on one of them, then properties?

Forgive the question, but I'm genuinely curious - how do you implement this?
If it makes you feel better I made myself feel old as I wrote it.
Also my first experience of Frozen Bubble. Isn't Frozen Bubble awesome?

As far as I can tell the OTP calculators are only issued for business accounts, normal "end user" accounts have minimal provisions.
Here in the UK HSBC, Barclays and others issue OTP calculators to all their Internet banking customers.
