I'm sure he still keeps an eye on wrestling. I've seen quite a few Max Payne commercials for the PS2 ver. during wrestling commercial breaks over the last year or more.
If the next next gen of consoles are powerful enough why wouldn't Nintendo just have developers create games almost like pc games where the user can host their own servers off the console? Or even a utility to run a server thru Win/Nix. They don't have to dip into their pockets to run a service at all then.
So that's the excuse for one company doing it across our entire country. What about just starting in the big cities? Why doesn't this happy all the way from NY City to Washington D.C.? I've never seen it but people tell me that stretch is almost complete "city."
I don't care about everyone having it right now, I just want to know why they haven't even started?
Could it be given that most companies are huge huge HUGE conglomerates that doing something in just a few areas won't justify the expense??
That's what I want to know. I already know we're more spread out than Japan.
There's a sort of preview with the guys making the game in this months Game Informer where they say they're working on having something like 4x2 kilometers of Manhattan for you to swing around, save people, and follow the main story which will be based on the next movie most likely.
There's some really cool talk about how the webshooting will work, webbing will have a physics system all to its own and you actually have to shoot at a solid object (building, flag pole) to swing around, no hangin' from the Stairway to Heaven any more.
Basically it sounds like they're lookin' to make a more open ended game somewhat like GTA, but w/o the "Rated T for Teen" stuff.
Pardon? I believe both NOLF games have gotten really good reviews and they both kicked ass. They were what a game should be, they were fun to play and didn't take themselves too God damn seriously.
Couldn't this cast suspicion on the motives of the RIAA? I mean wouldn't you think some judge the next time they file for billions of bucks from some poor bastard would say "I think this is a bit frivolous seeing as how you just settled for so little before."
Not everyone has time to investigate every computer bug they come across or dig for why their system keeps crashing. If just a simple reboot makes it go away then most people that don't have time to take away from their job or whatever are just glad they can get their shit done.
I don't get why being that anal about time keeping is so important anyway. I guess with all the high dollar electronic transactions that go on these days there and what not, but for the average chump going about day to day... if the sun is in the sky it's day time, if it's not, it's night. If it looks like it's in the middle of the sky it's time for lunch.
Think if it were a camera though. In a few years we'd have face-to-face communication like in star trek and we don't have to look up to the corner of our monitor or somewhere to a webcam or something. That would be kinda neat.
Of course we all know it'll be 3-5, 7-10, 10-15 years. Take ur pick

But I don't see kazaauser@kazaa.com on there

Instead of wading through a million IANAL posts on Slashdot, consult AL.
This means I'll be able to afford a G4 system in the coming months!
How come stories like these always seem like they get posted because of zealotry?
Keep your eyes peeled at the districts website, maybe they'll have IT positions opening up soon.
then there are those who play console and pc games and eat ramen all year long.
when pc gaming isn't call rts's, fps and "Sim..." games then I'll stop buying my consoles
"But equally, any console getting a head start on the next generation will have a significant advantage..."
Worked brilliantly for the Dreamcast

So if this game flops and they pull the plug after 6 months does that mean everyone is free??
+1 Desperate
So Iraq is the United State's Taiwan. What about Tibet?
E3's over and this is what gaming news has to offer?
until the Pfizer worm comes around and then we're all in for a hard time
i got nothin' this morning

Now "starring" Jar Jar Binks...
I'm sure there will be a few of these.

I've been known to be naive before.
This was also announced for PC back in October/November yet I still can't find it anywhere even though it was suppose to have been released.
BSD FROM THE ASHES!!!!

Has anyone gotten the sci-fi/horror thing to work right? Is 2001 considered to be? And I don't mean action flicks like Alien(s)345

What's the big deal? Can someone enlighten me?
