A behind the scenes interview with the "id" staff (not ID, Id...etc), page 74, paragraph starts...
"Over the past couple of years Carmack has openly admitted his waning interest in games. (Though since id derives its greatest revenue from its games - rather than licensing engines - it's likely he'll be building games for years to to come.)..."
I don't want to sound like I'm trying to pick o a fight, but who cares about fixing jet lag? Isn't this a more about helping sick people get better? I didn't realize jet lag was such a detriment to society.
I can remember before I was 2. My family moved into a new house right after I turned 2 (within 2 mos.) but I still remember the old house. shortly there after it burned down and i hadn't been there since we moved out, but i remember being there and smelling the woodstove and the way it looked. i haven't seen pictures inside that place since either, even tho a few do exist.

I work begrudgingly in a CompUSA store and the customers are suckered by our sales guys, yet I need the $ so I just suck it up and feel dirty.
I just wish this information was more well distributed, and that people would actually research what they're getting into. They treat it like clothes shopping, they stop in and take something that looks cool home, but if you're plunking down a big wad of money you should research, sadly they don't, then they're pissed when they realize a week later they were suckered. And since I work customer service counter I get to play whipping boy.
(On a truly sad note this one customer swore at me and said it was "Horse shit..." that we didn't carry Dell even though I said it wasn't our decision to make...)
they know they're arithmetic, spelling, and the capitals first. don't get them started on oo wiz bang gizmos until they understand their basic studies otherwise they might get distracted. i started playin' those silly learning games in school and never wanted to do my homework.
I don't think you'll have to worry about CompUSA doing this. It's ironic that a "cutting edge" technology is farther behind technology wise behind the scenes than some 3rd world countries.
For the same reason Sony created the memory stick instead of using CF or Smart Media as their primary choice.
It's all about who can patent the next big technology first and make billions off of it. It's not about compatibility with big companies (I realize Sony is based ultimately in Japan) it's about profits.
And I don't want to sound rude, but DUH! It's only brought up on/. that America is just a flawed business now. Why even ask. No one that runs these companies reads this (If a head honcho from MS or Sony or somethin' is readin' this, I'm logged in under a friends user name)
A friend of mine works for CompUSA and after noting an Alienware rig that was tested in Max PC a couple months ago running with a 23" Apple display, he said that Compusa actually carries converters for this. I haven't seen them myself, but I would think most of their stores would have them if ours does.
The first Turok game (I actually never played the subsequent releases so I have no idea how their controls worked) actually had the best default FPS control scheme I've ever used on a console.
The four yellow "C" keys controlled your forward, back, and strafe, while the control stick moved your head around just like a mouse. The N64's control stick has great freedom of movement, I find the Xbox's and PS1/2 to be clunky and not very sensitive.
I've found that messing with the button config. can help, especially if a game actually lets you reconfigure each control specifically the way you want, rather than giving you 4 or 5 "layouts", you can usually get a manageable combination.
Fujitus makes some of the things I've seen on CNBC, so if you're looking for a specific one it's probably them.
I had a bookmark to a distributer that dealt w/ older Fujitsus, but I seem to have lost it, so yeah. Try eBay under the laptop category and select Fujitsu as manufacturer, they're under there. And try their site
It's also more difficult for parrots to build tools (although not so tough for crows!:), cars, houses, dishware, sew, and program computers; they can replicate our sounds but do they understand our language?
Humans had a decided advantage b/c of more obvious phsysiology (hands) as well, speech just made it easier to say "ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!"
And who's to say they don't have a culture that's all their own, too.
It's *id* Software. Not ID. Not iD. id. as in the psychology term.

I do enjoy when Apple puts out new products, it means their old products will become slightly more in my price range. Although I don't know how much longer I can wait for a deal on older TiBooks. I may have to whip out the credit card.
Jerry must not be able to handle slander against himself very well. Yet he can dish it out against minorities and homosexuals. Tough shit on him I say.
Ever wanted a Buddy Christ figurine watching you drive?
Graphitti Designs has them. But more to the point they make almost every DC/Marvel comic character T-shirt out there as well as View Askew, Grendel, Hellboy, and others.
So after this we can't call him a scam artist, but "scum bag" is alright?
brb... There's a lawyer with papers at my door
Someone will just write an opensource replacement some day anyway, and it will work on all platforms.
I don't see what the big deal is about one company killing a product that only 7% of the computer using population could use in the first place.

I won't be happy until I have a yellow pixelated skull replacing my head on camera
It's Christopher Reeve, but the point I want to make is...
George Reeves shot and killed (suicide?) under dubious circumstances.
Christopher Reeve is paralyzed from the neck down (well until recently it seems).
Keanu would be well advised to stay away
We all know it's Al Gore's Internet

Also Viewsonic makes the "SuperPDA" Viewpad 1000
These things are out there, you just have to look. New stuff is expensive and older (ie. cheap) stuff isn't gonna be anythin' special.
If that fails you as always, just do a Google search.

and it's taking that long, I'm sure Joe can just get another Fender Stratospheric 5,000 dollar pearl inlay ax and write it off as a "business expense"

b/c each of those devices adds at least 2 hp respectively! you put an Si sticker on a DX model and that's like speed in a can!!
