Games tend to not know anything about MAC, as this is taken care of in the network stack for them. I'm not sure what MAC has to do with the quality of graphics, as it is a number that is tied to your ethernet card.
Mac OS X 10.4 has a setting that allows you to disable the caps lock. The only thing that would make it better is if it could activate when I press both shifts at once.
citking writes "The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel is running parts one and two of a three-part series dealing with the future of books in America's schools. Part one asks whether books in schools is merely a fad or, as some may argue, a necessity in today's book-driven society. It raises some interesting points, such as the contrasting the wide availability of computers in schools to the generally limited use among students. Part two goes in-depth about the books' cost, citing the dependence of grants that are disappearing and the effects of reducing library staff. For part three you will have to tune in the the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel tomorrow."
My point is that technology is a tool. It is a tool that is used in just about every aspect of adult life. We need computers in the schools if we want our children to grow up to be technological-minded.
They may not be used to their fullest capacity by schools today, but that is because teachers are not accustomed to teaching in a tech rich environment and students are not accustomed to learning in a tech rich environment.
However, three or four generations of kids from now, the posted statement will appear as silly as my version of the same statement, as technology in schools will be as ubiquitous as books are today.
The pleasure to the cow of yanking on its teat is irrelevant. It is the living conditions that the cows are kept in that is the problem. Concrete lots next to rank manure pits, feed troughs that will have colonies of maggots in the bottom of them by mid June, the use of electric shock to heard the cattle through the loop. These are all things that go on with the milking of cattle.
Except that vegans generally are vegans because of the cruelty to animals. When you take a single cell and make a steak out of it, you remove the cruelty, except maybe for a shot.
Actually, it's funny you mentioned Pepsi(TM), because they have a commercial running right now where they feature several pop machines, which are all clearly different iterations of Coke(TM)
C'mon people, give me a GPS (or tie it to the car's mileage for bigger points) enabled computer with two buttons. One that says "business" one that says "personal". That way I don't have keep a logbook for the freaking IRS.
I don't give a flying fark about DVD, random WiFi hotspots, or weather forecasts (if you can't see the weather when you're in the car, you're blind, and you probably can hear it.)
I just want a car computer that allows my car usage to be simpler.
Not to mention that the Mac GUI is quite different than what they saw at Xerox.
For instance- One of the Apple guys swore that the Alto had windows that could overlap, so Apple sat down and figured out how "they" did it. Then, on a subsequent visit, Apple showed it to PARC, and the PARC guys were amazed. They hadn't even thought anyone would want overlapping windows, as they were using multiple large monitors.
Also not to mention that it isn't a copy if the same guys are working on both projects. Many of the PARC people went to Apple when they realized that Apple was actually going to bring something to market.
No every mission will be the equivalent of refinishing a bathroom floor.
8/1/05 Science Friday got it head on. The Shuttle is the only vehicle capable of carrying the modules for the ISS. These modules are not US modules, but rather have been designed and constructed by other countries'. Their money has been invested in objects that are sitting on the ground, waiting for a shuttle to take them up and install them.
This is why there is still a manned shuttle crew. This is why they are trying to fix the shuttle.
I agree that something else needs to be designed, built, and run. However, we are still in the middle of constructing the ISS, and the last thing we need to do is get rid of our freight vehicle/crew cab.
The screen names aol, aim, and bob are in the top 5%. Anything in the top 5% shows a ranking too, which appears to be how many you are from the top of the list.
"aol" has a score of 65161 and a rank of 143491, which means there are a lot more screen names more popular than it.

You forgot the bork! bork! bork! at the end.
Then it would be in proper sweedish.
Just because you don't know that a football field is roughly 13,090 pencil thicknesses doesn't make it less of a standard.

Oh, you mean Mac?

I can think of a couple games that could use this..
Mario Party - 1970's edition
Mario Brothers - Asylum
There's a lifetime guarantee on every one though, they guarantee that your life will end within 5 minutes of them failing.
I have pictures of you and your "wife" in the Caymans. He'll be pissed if they get out.
Yup. The funny thing is that there isn't a mature tree to be found in any of them.

This should have been posted by Roland Piquepaille.
Image set 'A' was with the target image several images after the hand.
Image set 'B' was with the target image quickly after the hand.
Image set 'C' was with the target image in the same spot as 'B', but the hand was replaced with a fire hydrant.
C is clearly the control. Well, unless you have some sort of a hidden memory of something bad (or erotic) dealing with a fire hydrant.
And now we know that the blue whale does not have the biggest "bar" in the galaxy.

Now, what screen name is number 1?
No, what's missing the card taped to your mirror, with the words
"Which one is it" written on it.
Of course, there is none actually missing, but the mark doesn't know that.
Why are we talking about Iowa Public Television in the headline, then jumping to Time Warner and San Diego in the body?
It's easier nowdays, we use CA glues that dry quickly, and our "tissue paper" is actually an iron-on shrinkwrap plastic.
Now, if I were NASA, I'd be making sure the batteries are charged, and a bit of fuel tubing is holding all of the control clevises shut.
Oh, and that their AMA card is on the frequency they're using.
