    It took some time to adjust to it's workflow, but with 27'' screen it wasn't that hard (just keep everything open).

    If OS needs a 27" screen and keeping everything open, it doesn't seem like it has a good UI. I'd say it is a terrible UI, or you're doing something wrong.

    P.S.: I like the first approach more, though the second one is becoming ubiquitous.

    Date online, as the Internet is a GREAT tool for bringing people together. Just don't go trying to take shortcuts like dating sites. Actually MEET people via sites discussing your interests (you know, outside of genitalia).

    Absolutely. But even if they want to stick to old locked down copyright model, there must not be a monopoly like *IAA. Monopolies always, always become public enemies, trying to screw everyone up, reaching for even more power, spreading like cancer through every other market and system. If I was an artist obsessed with controlling my work, I would expect to be given a choice of who will defend my interests, and not obliged to pay 95% of income to some rich assholes controlling the market.

    But they keep amazing me every time their managers come up with a new, even more insane DRM. Seriously, is there still a game behind all this crap? Well, if there is, I suggest that ubidroids do not ship any game next time, only DRM which will require your autopsy results for authentication. That's how they can keep piracy level at ZERO!

    I wonder if they could use their Great Firewall to cripple botnets. I mean, they have no problem finding and blocking thousands of IP addresses from TOR network, right? So they could easily block any number of C&C servers. But of course they wouldn't, because cyber attacks on other countries are controlled by the same government, which tries to mind-control citizens.

    Good thought, but in this case a new law will be passed next to SOPA. Something like PABO (Protecting American Businesses Online), which will grant big corporations immunity from petty individuals like you and me. For example, it will state that you can only sue for for copyright infringement IF you're a slave, pardon, member of the MAFIAA. Don't try to win against them on their field, it's hopeless.

    Long long time ago Blizzard offered opportunity to play a single copy of Starcraft in multiplayer up to 8 times using spawn installations. But now everyone is required to pay for every bit of functionality of the game (think DLC and mappacks, campaigns in case of Blizzard), which is still not guaranteed to work.

    People love to hate other people. The ubiquitous hatred and desire of violence is what really keeps tyrannies running. Just give a man a club and tell him that it is morally acceptable and even right to use it against that person, and that he's protected from any retaliation that might follow. He'd be happy to do it. Not everybody is like this of course, but most of us are.

    Same with propaganda. You just tell that it's right to hate those people, that they are "our enemies", and you'll have a surprising amount of followers, because it's okay to hate those people, it's okay to let your violent subconscious loose.

    Russia doesn't have any microchip factories or tools to design it (the foreign ones are used). But at least it has means for designing and producing circuit boards (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TopoR), so it's not hopeless.
