Something's wrong with the way most companies fill these roles then.
I'm 8x more competent than is described above, but don't have a degree so food-service is my only option (since I didn't take an apprenticeship straight out of high school).
According to his website, www.wafu.com.au, takeout is available if you bring your own non-perishable dish container. They offer containers to go but charge extra and may ask you not to come back.
I sure hope this restaurant goes out of business soon, that's about the most non businessman-like stance I've ever seen taken in a restaurant.
The Tex Murphy series would make some fantastic movies.
It's too bad they aren't doing anymore games. I wonder if an independent film company did some Tex Murphy movies and they became successful, if they'd get the shit sued out of them.
Maybe they had other reasons, but needed an excuse to lay her off?
That completely justifies it.
We should allow people to be fired for the words coming out of their mouth/fingers on their own time because it gives employers more leniency to fire the employees they want to without just cause.
Where would the world be if employers couldn't just let anybody go they want for absolutely no reason.
The battle may be lost, but we don't have to lose the war!
Let's step up our efforts.
We can create a war on spam! It could be a misdemeanor to support the terrorist funding spam groups by allowing them your e-mail or the use of your machine! This could be supported by the government wiretapping efforts. It would help the economy by providing more free slave labor, and it would help stop the moral decline of the internet!
Just say no to spam!
I've seen like three posts that say if the DRM is too restrictive that it would be the first cracked version you download.
Peachy, but that more than likely includes the loss of online play, because at the moment you can't play a cracked version of Civ IV online to my knowledge.
As soon as I'm good enough at that game I intend to buy it so I can try it online, because my computer will more than likely not be able to run Civ V.
If online multiplayer is going to be prominent enough in this title for it to be a steam title, well...
Donate to what?
What on earth are you people talking about?
I'm so confused.
Why would any clear thinking individual ever donate money to Microsoft?
I even went and read TFA, and I STILL have no idea what we're donating to...
Now maybe I've been living under a tech rock or something, but can we get some context please?
Admittedly I'm being a little pedantic here but, good sir, I just wanted to point out that the freedom to punch somebody in the nose is referred to as a liberty. The freedom to not be punched in the nose is a right.
Politics, the non-violent resolution of conflict, is basically the balancing of individual rights with individual liberties in line with what the majority of people in a society feels is appropriate.
The expansion of other people's rights means people make demands on me, such as the demand, request, or suggestion, depending on how you look at the issue, that I quit smoking.
I don't remember ever demanding that anybody smoke a cigarette against their will...
Hi guys,
My sister has tourette's, and I feel obliged to inform you all that many people's "ticks" manifest in different ways. In her case, she jerked randomly, when she was younger quite often. Now that she's older she hides it much better, some of you may know someone with this without even being aware of it.
I also find it hard to believe that it took her five years to make the connection between the price scanner and the tourette's, the whole story wreaks of unlikely. I don't understand how a scanner works, so all science aside, I suppose she can have the benefit of the doubt about that.
New's son lives with his grandmother, who has custodial rights.
So this story may not be exactly as it sounds.
Also how does a sixteen year old afford to hire a lawyer anyway? If no lawyer would not this simply get laughed out of court?
Does anybody happen to know of a nerd oriented news website similar to this one that isn't terrible?
Between this story and the story about smokers having lower IQs, I think I officially just quit slashdot.
Fatty foods have harmed our society enough already.
The people must be protected from themselves.
We must do something.
It's time for a war on fatty foods! Just say no to fat.
Do you have an obese friend? It would be better for them if you just turned them over to the police for possessing contraband, that way they can rehabilitate from their addiction in jail.
odd. they must have done something to iTunes that broke it because sometime in the year 2005 I distinctly remember running iTunes like a champ under wine on my laptop running ubuntu at the time.
"I took him home, busted his little butt and things were fine from then on."
Child abuser.
Who needs drugs when you can use pain to make your kids behave.
If I beat my kid I wouldn't have to give him drugs either.
It's much more morally correct to alter a kids behavior with drugs than with discipline.
I'm of course being sarcastic.

Aspergers, however, is slightly more definable.
if you want.

"Actually, the truth is, *really* - no one wants to pick up garbage, not even the guys that do it, but that's besides the point...)"
As someone with just a high school diploma who tried to get a bachelors, I would happily pick up garbage for something more than ten dollars an hour.
