Although there is no evidence that you're a Linux user, by doing this you're giving the Linux community a bad name. Please stop this foolish and childish attack. Open Source and Free Software are a force for good and you're damaging that by doing this.
Please remember the following.
1) No one likes or respects you for this.
2) It's illegal.
3) It harms GNU/Linux's image as the good guy against SCO's obviously bogus case.
4) It makes the community look bad even though 99.999999% of us aren't foolish enough to engage in something like this.
In short you're accomplishing nothing by doing this.
SCO *will* be dealt with by lawful means. I urge you to stop the attack by whatever means NOW.
There is no evidence, aside from the fact that SCO has pissed a lot of people off, that it's a GNU/Linux user.
In fact, it's arguable since this person obviously has some knowledge about Windows APIs, it may be someone outside of the community trying to stir up trouble.
Whoever it is, however, what you're doing is wrong and should be stopped.
One other question... when a Windows user acts stupidly do people judge all windows users? If not, then why when one Linux user acts stupidly, if it is indeed one, which is doubtful, do people rush to judgement against the entire community??
Isn't it possible that the Window's crowd knows that this might damage GNU/Linux and is therefore doing this to hurt it?
I don't know of any GNU/Linux user who cares enough about the situation with SCO to do this since SCO's evidence has been completely transparent and bogus.
It amazes me that SCO thinks they will be taken seriously by any policymakers when you have the likes of IBM, HP and Apple using Open Source every day.
Darl, you're an idiot who just doesn't get it. You've got enough lawsuits going (what are we up to now: IBM, HP, Google, ???) might as well add another front to your war.
Good riddance SCO, you're bound to loose. And you, Darl, will go down in history as the sorriest idiot ever to run a company. You got in and you let the lawyers take over. And to think that SCO was once a decent player in the GNU/Linux arena. Sour grapes, huh? Asshole.

Get a MIDI keyboard, one of the ones which is just a controller, and get a decent synth program. There are plenty of Free Software synth programs out there.
Hook the two together and viola, you've got something which is close, if not better in some cases, than this thing.
That's the best way to make sure that applications are secure. Believe it or not, most developers care if there is a security problem in their software.
The problem with this whole idea is the assumption is this: Programs depend on libraries, libraries depend on lanuges runtimes/libraries and those depend on the OS. Of course you're also depending on the compiler not to produce buggy assembler code.
So with all of these layers can we truely say who is liable when something goes wrong?
When a person learns something, this information is stored in the overall structure of the brain. In short the connections between the neurons is what makes up our memories, not the individual neurons themselves.
It's impossible to tell where memories would be stored and if they are stored, then would a single memory reside in one place in the brain or in multiple places? The current evidence points to the idea that memories are stored in serveral desparate areas of the brain and in no predictable pattern. This means that it would be impossible to tell in each person where the last 24 hours of memories have been stored.
I never said I was owed anything. I simply asserted the simple truth that I've submitted stories for things on Slashdot which get rejected when coming from me, but get accepted when coming from one of the oh-so-elite-members of the "crew". I mean *for the same story* not a similar one, but the *exact* same one. It's not a matter of mine being second in line or anything since the copy (yes copy) of my story comes out days later under *someone elses name*. Meanwhile, I get a rejection.
That's all. I don't think I'm "entitled", I have accepted that this site functions as a clique so I simply post like this. I just think that if you're going to have a system which reeks of despotism, you should, at least, be honest about it instead of pretending to be fair.
Enough said, folks. This is the way life works on slashdot. FYI, I don't bother to submit stories here anymore and neither to lots of others because they are well aware of the practices of those who run the site. I hope I've been clear enough.

Sites get attacked every day. Yahoo.com had it's share of attacks back in the day and so did any number of sites.
The fact is that improperly maintained or administered sites *will* be hacked or DoS attacked by evil-hackers simply to prove that they can do it. SCO is simply a convenient target for some adolescent idiots like so many other sites.
There is no evidence that these attacks are in any way connected to the recent Linux spat and are not some independent idiot who doesn't care one way or the other.
Also, as a community we should discouraget this kind of behavior, but it is also a mistake for any individual, company or judge to believe that the actions of a few wayward individuals reflects the sentiment of the entire community.
I mean, just because someone uses Windows and hacks Linux sites, does this mean that *all* Windows users hate Linux?? No, I know some people who use both and they love Linux, but use Windows for work and they like it too. Contrary to popular belief Windows users are as rabid and often are *more* rabid and fanatical than Linux users. I personally have spoken to people who believe that Microsoft deserves to overcharge the workd for everthing because, in his mind, they have "won" and that is thier "reward".
So you see... I believe that, while it's unfortunate the SCO is being attacked, it's not necessarily connected with Linux.
It's undoubtedly going to happen or at least is happening somewhere in the world. There is too much to gain from human cloning, all legal issues aside, to stop it.
In human history, every time there has been some block or ban put on a technology it was continued forward anyway. It will be the same here.
When you consider that stem cells can be used to grow ANY OTHER BODY TISSUE, the use for them becomes clear. Currently there are scientists researching how to use stem cells to grow spcific body parts. This means that, if one day you loose an arm or need a kidney, that it will be a simple matter (okay, not so simple) to grow one from your existing cells.
