What I saw from Halo 3 at E3 disappointed me. Killzone 2 trumped Halo 3 in almost every way. I'm not predicting a flop, just don't automatically assume that Halo 3 will be a huge hit.
This move makes no sense. Consumers have spoken and they prefer Blu-Ray by a 2-to-1 margin. Yet here Paramount comes and drops Blu-Ray for HD-DVD. Paramount is trying to dictate to consumers what product to buy. If history has told us anything it's that when belligerent companies try to force their unwanted product on consumers, the product always fails. Paramount is about to learn the hard way.
I predict Paramount will sell very few HD-DVD discs and end up abandoning the format in favor of the consumer-preferred Blu-Ray. Dropping Blu-Ray for HD-DVD is like dumping your super model girlfriend to date Rosie O'Donnell.
Why is AMD holding back Barcelona? We're less than a month from launch and there are still no benchmarks. Intel allowed its 45nm chips to be benchmarked and they aren't coming out until November... why is AMD holding back?

Evolution says that complex life such as humans evolved from simpler forms, yet it does not say what created those simpler forms of life to begin with. MICROSOFT was the company that paid big $$$ for exclusive content in GTA4. Now that exclusive content is DELAYED. So the question should be "How will this affect Microsoft".
Sony has a HUGE library of AAA exclusives coming out in the next 1-6 months so they will be fine.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Resistance and Motorstorm are all great games. Lately I've been playing MLB 2007 The Show and it's great too. I still love NBA 2K7 and little downloadable games like Super Rub a Dub. I think your assertion that PS3 has no games is without merit.

When I play a great demo I go out and buy the game, for example I just pre-ordered Heavenly Sword after playing the awesome demo. Yet another great exclusive for Sony to add to the lengthy list of great games like Resistance, Motorstorm, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Heavenly Sword, Hot Shots Golf, MGS, Final Fantasy, Little Big Planet, Killzone, and many more that I can't even remember. PS3 is starting to look like a killer console.
Can't wait for Little Big Planet, it's the next generation of video game. People who are always whining about games not being innovative need to check this one out. You've NEVER played a game like Little Big Planet before.
Backward compatibility works great, and it even has 1080p upscaling. Hardware emulation never had upscaling so software emulation is the better overall solution IMO.
This will spark interest in the 60GB console, and when all the supplies are moved they will cut the price of the 80GB console to $499. I don't see why people are upset about this.

The Cell is an amazing piece of technology... this is a great PR move by Sony hosting servers off PS3s. Warhawk is going to be an amazing game.
