    I actually like the idea of broadband internet as a utility. It implies that
    a) everyone have access to it like power, water, phone
    b) it must be reliable like power,water,phone
    c) it become commonplace like power, water, phone
    d) when was the last time your phone company tried to pull stunts like verisign does (sitefinder)

    i had a game gear. got it becasue the bigger color screen seemed great. the batteries only lasted about 1hr. not fun.

    There are linux DVD players just that none are free. There are no free legal DVD players ON ANY OS. You know how everyone says MS Office,photoshop,reamweaver etc will never have a linux version because linux users do not pay for software, well that is quite true.
