Don't you mean who would protect all the oil you need to power the internet because we are too stupid to move to alternative generation methods that allows you to say that.
Considering it requires massive legal constructs and the loss of some fairly basic democratic principles to maintain monopolies that don't naturally exist and still fails to efficiently get goods to a massive percentage of the market, yeah I'd call that a failure, but mostly on the part of the legislators.
This is the fundamental flaw in the whole download = sale argument.
It's pretty hard to argue that someone with downloads worth more money than they have earnt in their entire lifetime was ever going to purchase them all...
It has sound out, USB and micro DVI, 3 out of the 4 things you mention are actually present...
Most small laptops these days don't have an optical drive anyway (in fact even some quite large laptops don't).
The only normal thing I can see thats missing is wired Ethernet but there are USB adapters to fix this, in fact apple should be clever and add it to the USB optical drive.
We had a dog capable of opening all sorts of doors, he could even open the back door against the swing, ie: turn the handle and pull the door towards himself. He also used to get agitated if you wore a hat because he couldn't recognise you if you did, he would even bark at my uncle if he was wearing a hat and stop immediately if he removed it. Having been a building site dog he developed a strange habit of barking when you called "FIRING!" which they used to do before anyone used a nail gun, he would as a result bark on demand any time any place, quite an amusing party trick. He also used to have what can only be described as a guilty look that he would give you when he had done something wrong, sometimes he would even give the look before doing something wrong and then go and do it! All in all I think we are not giving dogs nearly enough credit on the smarts front.
IT departments are completely chock full of people who grew up almost exclusively playing violent video games. I bet all the other departments are just shaking in their boots when their computer breaks and some violent psychopath from IT has to come down to fix it!
But if you combine all the piles of right wing poo together in to one massive pile as these fellows have, the truth is well and truly buried in a big pile of shit.
This common phrase has been changed to "Imitation is the highest form of infringement" or at least it was until it was sued by the owners of the original flattery statement due to copyright infringement.

If we park all the 4 x 4's in the spot where the they plant the nuke! that would make road travel significantly safer.
That scenario is nothing, try installing the lastest version of Grand Theft Auto without an internet connection...
The day they removed LAN play was the day I stopped caring wether they released it at all.
Someone obviously knows absolutely nothing about the CO2 emmissions of various countries.
Millions and millions is pretty poor in a potential market of Billions and billions...
I say they should encourage piracy to make sure the lawyers always have work.
Mind you if I have to choose between truck drivers and lawyers...
They should also make sure they guy with the price sticker machine gets his cut, I hate to see him injured by piracy.

What a total cop out.
Because someone is even worse than me why should I bother trying to improve things...
Way to go!
Internal combustion engines have proved to be pretty fatal and to have quite number of other nasty side effects as well.
I agree that crap looks nothing like any lego I have ever seen.

He is not saying its as easy to use as a word processor.
He is saying that both amateurs and professionals will be using the same products.

It's quite obvious the American's doctored the original and the Chinese one is the accurate one.
I agree, use it or lose it!
Walmart doesn't do a cavity search when they don't like the name on your credit card.
Well of course not, the ones trying to hide from bullets behind the airbags were the first to go.

Statistically smoking usually only becomes fatal after 31 years...
What violent video games could you play 50 years ago?
Mind you I bet pong has caused it fair share of psychopaths!
