I did read it, but via a link from another site a few hours ago. I recommend skipping ahead a bit: the first part contains a lot of 'boring' boilerplate, it gets funnier after that.
http://www.superblog.org/index.php?setlanguage=en : It lets you make a page with the latest headlines and articles from a bunch of RSS feeds, in seconds. Great for reading all your favourite blogs or news sites on one page...
Is anyone still surprised by this? Unfortunately, all of this legal hullabaloo costs loads of mandays, money and effort that could be spent improving code or making usefull things...
I must say this is a relief... My first child is being born in a few months and I was afraid I'd have to start stashing away Mindstorm kits... It would have been like 'New-Coke' all over again;-)
I'm no expert on magnetic levitation, but won't the fields totally screw with any electronic device in or near the train? Laptop hard-drives, PDA-memory, IPod disk... Or is there an obvious and easy way to shield that stuff?
Who owns it then? Isn't this similar to Kodak or Xerox, where a trademark has lost its protected status because it has become a word in 'common usage'?
Yeah, I remember those... As a kid, I used to play for hours with lego, constructing this, building that... I never understood the appeal behind all those 'branded' sets (Star Wars, Potter...) anyway.
I also hear they are going to introduce a new alien species that look a lot like fish...
1992? More like 1970... Wanna bet there's some story floating around about infectious punch-cards somewhere?
Maybe if we all stand in giant fish-shaped groups, would that show up on the picture?

Hah! Everybody knows the going rate for a healthy baby is way less than $30.000...
That should have been http://www.superblog.org/index.php?setlanguage=en of course...

Ever heard of a place called Las Vegas? ;-)
Who owns it then? Isn't this similar to Kodak or Xerox, where a trademark has lost its protected status because it has become a word in 'common usage'?
Ah! So that is the 'real' agenda behind this tool... Interesting!
I guess this also explains those 'Employees are expected to wash their hands after using the lavatory' signs then ;-)
I agree: you cannot beat 'free' and 'unlimited choice of songs'. At least not in a real free market environment.
There was the television version, and also a couple of stage adaptations... I'm sure it will look good on silver screen too. Can't wait to see this!
Heh, that means we'll soon get all-kinds-of-stuff.google.com ;-)
Imagine entering a query to retrieve your car keys... the possibilities are endless.
Martian beer? I don't think so... wouldn't you need sugar & stuff to ferment first?
What part of 'I checked Ebay' didn't you understand? :-)
Yeah, I remember those... As a kid, I used to play for hours with lego, constructing this, building that... I never understood the appeal behind all those 'branded' sets (Star Wars, Potter...) anyway.
Superglue or not, here in Belgium and The Netherlands millions of mussels are eaten every year ;-)
Why can't you download that from SuSE? Do they give a reason?
That right now the entire planet is between me and Linus, as I am in Belgium...
Anybody know when IPV6 will be there, then? How are they planning on switching everybody over?
I am moving away from RedHat 8 and I'm still doubting between Mandrake and Fedora. Guess this settles it... or not? Which one should I choose?
