It's because I actually like windows better. I'm not about to give up something I like to use, to use something I like a lot less. I pretty much use Linux where I need to use it and Windows everywhere else.

We don't "own" cats, they pretty much own us. We are wait staff. Pretty much ALL cats are named "kitty kitty kitty". Don't believe me? You want pretty much any cat to come, just go "here kitty kitty kitty" [seems to take all 3 so it's like First, middle and last names.] Kinda like Zathras. That said every cat that has ever owned me has "come" to me when I called its name. Inside cats more so than outside cats which lends me to believe it's more of a condition response as indoor cats spend so much more time with their humans that they are used to be called by name then outdoor cats.
it's a belief system. People tend to believe what the are told when it is already inline with what their personal beliefs are. The more people who buy into it the more it reinforces that belief. Don't have to look far to see it either. Drive down the road and count the churches. Belief is a tough nut to crack and no amount of empirical evidence or data that proves otherwise will change their minds.
I've been blessed with something in my skin or in my blood that mosquito hate. I honestly can't remember the last time I've been bitten by one. I was a magnet for them when was young but now nada.
My pals hate it lol. We all went to a park down here last year when they were out pretty heavy and my buds were getting bit left and right. You could see 6 or so on their [my pals] backs/arms at any given time. Not one bite on me. They always ask when I use and I just say nothing. Now gnats, gnats are a different story:( But down here mosquitos tend to get as big as small jumbo jets all black with white stripes. They look a lot like the ones in Florida only BIGGER. For reference I live about 8 miles north of the Mexican border in south Texas.
The produce at the Asian/Hispanic stores is about half the price at mainstream stores like Safeway, and about a quarter the price at Whole Foods.
They also have some vegetables and fruits you will not see in mainstream stores.
The only vegetable you find in mainstream stores that they lack is brussel sprouts. The Asians and Hispanics have enough sense to realize that when God created brussel sprouts He was JOKING. They were never meant to be taken seriously and eaten as food.
what's wrong with brussel sprouts? I freaking LOVE them. I even grow some. Man in some garlic butter or pickled... Got my mouth watering.
It's almost like it never even happened really. If facebook were to close shop tonight 1/10th of the world would shit themselves. G+ close and it's like, meh nothing of value is lost, move along, nothing to see here and in 2 weeks nobody will even remember lol.
you can do it very easy with a RPI3 +. Raspicam. I run mine 24/7 [the RPI] connected to my 3d printer in this case with an IR raspi camera module and it streams 24/7 running repetier server for the printing part and python3 for the webserver and camera stream. .
Because of low heat you can just use ABS to print a nearly air tight box to put it in and 5v power supply and bob's your uncle.
But if you concentrate it, and then dump it into a river, it's not going to have the same effect as trace amounts in the environment.
the river won't care nor will most of the fauna. The only ones that care and that it directly affects is us. We NEED to care because the earth doesn't give a ticks ass about us or anything we do, I would imagine it saying "here's a place to either thrive or die, up to you." and short of blowing the whole planet up or sending it into the sun nothing we do or can do will destroy the earth. We can/are able to effect how hospitable this rock is for us to live on it though. Few critters shit in the their beds like we do.
I really don't think the earth cares one way or the other as far as elements and radioactivity goes. Kinda of like thinking the oceans would care if you added a few teaspoons of salt back to them. It all came from the ground to begin with so why not put it back when we are done with it;)
I would certainly consume an additional adult beverage or two if the task of driving home safely was out of my hands.

The answer to solving congestion is to not require these travels. It would appear the faster the transport instead of cutting times down , the distances increase even further hence the result of grid lock and hours of traffic.
As a simple example why do so many kids need to ride a car , bus etc to school, why can’t they simply walk to school around the corner like everyone else did not that long ago. The argument that they are going to a better school can’t be true, every kid can’t be going to a better school than their closest one.
You must never have lived outside a city or lived in small town USA. Growing up in northwest Illinois pretty much REQUIRES you to ride many miles on a bus just to GET TO the "closest" school.,
You're calling 46F cold, that's short sleeves weather. It was -31C(-24F) tonight, with 40% humidity and no cloud cover which made for excellent watching. In this neck of the woods it's almost always overcast in the winter.
Down here 60 is winter coat weather lol. I've lived here too long to ever consider going back to true cold. I've felt -76 wind chills and -20's far too many times growing up to last a life time and then some. Cold literally hurts me [nerve necropathy and thyriod issues] and I will NEVER go back to those conditions:(

why are we trying to get rid of the pilot?
