Why blame Android for something the Carriers are doing?
It's like being locked out of your apartment and blaming the construction company when it was the landlord that changed the locks and didn't give you the key.
Add $10 to that and it is actually $80 on Sprint. That is because the only comparable phone that Sprint offers is the HTC Evo 4g, and Sprint requires a $10 premiuim phone charge per month for it.
Make a good game and sell it at a reasonable price and people will buy it. Don't worry about those "lost" sales from people pirating the game, most of them wouldn't have bought the game anyways.
Would I be able to sync my iPod without having to use iTunes? Or access my iTunes share with any DAAP client??? Would this stop Apple from preventing the Palm Pre from syncing with iTunes?
I personally feel the same way. I think Apple makes great products but I hate that they try to control everything that you can do. And for that reason I will not buy another Apple product. Still I won't hesitate to recommend a iPhone to a friend if I think they will enjoy it.

Just what Android devices do you have experience with? For me the Nexus One is every bit as responsive and smooth as the iPad.
My friend used a application like this to fake his caller ID using his iPhone. Though it might have required jailbreaking to install.
