Cygwin is free, so is MSYS, so is Dev-C++. All (although cygwin will take some tinkering with to do this) will compile normal windows binaries just the same as the MS tools will.
;) If you open up the normal.mov that it links to (in firefox, use "view page info") there's a filename, which will be "filename_m480.mov" The filename being the same as the normal.mov, just replace the normal/first.mov with that. Usually it's just blah_m480.mov which "blah_480.mov" "links" to.
Unfortuantly, I can't get mplayer to play the audio with that, but quicktime alternative/mediaplayerclassic in windows plays it ok.
O.o except that gnofity seems to be taking up 40MEGABYTES of RAM. Of course, firefox has gobbled up 100MB already, so I don't need any more ram gobbled away.
I like how the guy being interviewed bullshits and says that (many?) all of the games that use starforce havn't been cracked. Soldiers: Heros of ww2 uses starforce, and looking on various sites, you find iso/cloneCD images of it avaliable to download...
No, MD5 is 128bit/16bytes. It does not produce a 2048bit checksum/hash. The largest hash algorithm that I know of is SHA512, which produces a 512bit hash.

Err, that's Windows and Mac OS X platforms, not windows and linux, yesh.
You can also (in firefox) use View Page Info and in the media tab, it will list everything, like stylesheets, images, embdeds,.swfs, etcetc and will allow you to save them.. It's pretty nifty for saving those embedded movies and slashes
Hmm, there arn't even any of the files being shared, at least on fast track and gnutella (and openft) At least if there was a BT tracker, you could tell if it was up or not.. I'd start a tracker, or seed the files somewhere, if I could just GET copies of them, but I can't..
Has anyone sucessfully downloaded/mirrored the site?

Yes! I'm auctally a kiwi who's heading to Portland for a year or so, having spent 6 months there a couple of months ago, and RickEmerson is great! The 'net radio stream is a lifesaver, since I can listen to the show back in NZ!
Of course, I ended up spending $100 or so at Powells the first them I went there, yesh!
Bah! Comcast has this down already. They just block ports 135-139 and 445 at the cable modem, so you're safe from most of the windows worms out there..
Except that you can't get the modified source.
(That is, source for the "shareware" binary)
I have a copy of the XChat 2.0.10c for windows binary (and source!) on my website, if anyone wants the previous Free version.

Have your friend try an IBM Model M ;)
Dude, I would so date a guy (Or a chick for that matter) with a 386/486 keyring. ;)
I have a (16MB) 72pin DIMM as my keyring.
Auctally, it works fine with the Opera 7.60 preview with the user agent set to Opera..

Someone port Libtomcrypt to it!
It compiles in ARM CPU's already, I believe.
Crypto on your calculator!

Err, there was a fibre link, ie a physical link. RTFA submitter?
As below, MD5 is 128bits, not 256.
So replace 256 with 128..

Both Bush and Kerry are against Gay Marriage, but there are really only two parties.
So who do the gays vote for, huh?
Go Democracy!

Apparently a doom3 benchmark with other cards is in the works, according to the author of the article..

Hmm, there's no bittorrent tracker/seed.
Does anyone have a tracker/.torrent of all the stuff? Or would be willing to host one..
Is there a non-flashcrap version?
Just turn on ICF (Internet Connection Firewall) before you plug it back in, yesh, it's right there.
WTF was this even posted?

Hmm, it doesn't mention anything about wifi on their webpage, do you have any details?

Don't forget that IE7 won't be a standalone browser anymore... You'll have to upgrade to longhorn to get it..
