    For me, "real-world" means: is gmail fast enough? is opening a new tab fast? is image rendering fast enough? is html video fast enough? is the occasional embellished html5 animation fast enough? is typing into the address bar fast enough?.

    I use gmail in basic HTML mode. It takes away some of the things I never use and, in my opinion looks much cooler (none of that modern looking nonsense). I also barely ever type into the address bar.

    You can stop trackers if you use Firefox. I use Ghostery but you could also use No script and block everything.

    You can usually use the right analog stick for the throttle and brakes in racing games though the triggers are more realistic and you can do left foot braking if you need to

    they'll just make it a felony to even touch the damn things.

    So find a way to remove it without touching it. If its under your car, find a convenient speed-bump. If its on a different part or the car then decide that said part needs replacing and take the part off, tracker and all.

    but they can already get your location history from your cell provider. If I wanted to keep my physical location info private, turning off my cell radio would be a good first step.

    What if You use a Prepay SIM card? I can walk into any local supermarket, buy a new SIM card for a couple of dollars swap it into my phone and have a new number that the police would know nothing about, especially if I buy it with cash.

    Toner may be more expensive but in the long run its cheaper. I don't do much printing and my old ink-jet seemed to eat ink cartridges irrespective of whether I actually used the damn printer. I'd try to print something and pretty much every colour would be empty even though I had only brought more ink about 10 pages ago. My new B&W laser has already printed more pages than my ink-jet ever has and shows no signs of running out of toner. It apparently has enough toner to last It 2000 pages
