I haven't had any of the problems that you've mentioned with the Xbox version, however it has crashed twice. The first time, it just straight up froze along with the sound. The second time, I was in the airport, and besides the starting room none of the other rooms were rendered.
Other than those two problems so far, I think it's a great game. The controls do take some getting used to, and the "lock-on" (if you even want to call it that) needs some work.
From what I've read here, it sounds like the PC version got the shaft. I can see that the gameplay wouldn't translate to mouse/keyboard very well. As for the graphics, they kick ass on Xbox. It's surprising the PC version doesn't match it.
I'm waiting for IGN's head-to-head to make a final decision. PS2 may be better, since I believe it was the original hardware being developed for.
If you remember the old scour.net, their Scour Media Agent did exactly what you're talking about: allowed p2p of shared folders on networks. The funny thing is, I don't think many people actually realized they were sharing files. Used the SMB protocol IIRC.
That is a terrible argument on par with the "nothing is missing, mp3s aren't stealing" bit. You can't take home a ripped jacket and make another jacket of it. You can copy all of the CDs, use the license code, and say "it wasn't compatible." See the difference?
I worked at CompUSA for a few months, and let me tell you that opened merchandise does not go straight back to the shelf. At each CompUSA, there is one guy who's job is to return each returned product to the vendor. That's the reason for the restocking fee, all that opened merchandise goes out of the store.
The 3 games that first came out for the Saturn in order were: Virtua Fighter, Daytona USA, and Panzer Dragoon. I think Clockwork Knight worked its way in there somehow. Let's also not forget that Sega sent a new version of Virtua Fighter to everyone who had the original, because the original was of substandard quality. Same situation with Daytona USA. Although at the time, Saturn was amazing.
Come back? When did it leave? Dragon Warrior 7 was released a little while ago for PSX. Unfortunately, the SNES DW games never made it here. I think there are translated roms floating about though.
Well yeah, except it came out yesterday. Best Buy and other large retailers like Wal-Mart are getting it today. Generally only Toys R Us and mall game shops like Electronic Boutique get games the day after they ship.
Nintendo seems to be having problems as of late. The Xbox is outselling the GameCube in the US, even with Super Mario Sunshine out now (That being said, I don't think SMS is a very good Mario game). This lawsuit is surely not going to help. Hopefully Metroid and Zelda will increase sales. Where's Mario Kart GCN?!
Do you realize what you just said? You basically said that nothing was lost between the arcade versions and the Super NES versions of those games. The arcade games ran at much higher resolutions, the sound quality was much higher, and there were some easter eggs which didn't make it into the home versions. Also, you can get the different revisions of the arcade roms, so if you want to be cheap with Baraka in MK II you're free to do so.:)

SPOILER ALERT
Eddie Brock makes a cameo appearance in the movie, and he eventually turns into Venom. I definitely see this happening in the sequel perhaps, due to the amazing CG they could do with the black symbiote.
Similar to glass "tobacco" pipes/bongs/etc. I've never seen anyone use them for tobacco, only pot. But they're legal, because you *could* smoke tobacco out of them. Mind you if they find your piece, and it has resin from pot on it, you're still gonna get fucked.
I work at CompUSA, and currently The Sims retails for $50. Our cost is $40. Games, movies and CDs tend to have very little markup at the store level. Media companies make a lot more per unit then you would think.
I read a A+ Cert. book a few weeks ago. The book is from 1999. In the chapter on modems, the author says that if you get crappy connects because of line noise or whatnot, you should call the phone company and tell them you can't connect higher than 2400bps. Anything higher is on the same voltage as 56k or something like that. Anyways, call them and ask for them to increase the voltage on your line. I did it when I could only connect at 26400 and it's now a nice 53333.:)
Are they stupid? (well we already know the answer)

This type of marketing is complete and utter bullshit. When Gameboy Advance came out a couple months ago, this "bundling" thing pissed off many a person. I know that I refuse to buy any sort of bundle and I suggest everyone else do the same. You'd think MS would try being a good business because of all that anti-trust stuf...
You don't think that would be annoying? As an attachment or something, I guess that would be ok. But I whip out my Palm for seconds at a time to take a note of something or whatever. The eyepiece, if it was the only display for the device, would be quite annoying. Not to mention bulky.
You say you can play for hours on 1 credit, but are you actually progressing through the table? Most pinball tables I can remember had some vague resemblence to progressing through it whether it be multipliers or whatever. You also have to have skill to be able to shoot the ball where you want it. If you can do that and are able to score extremely well by hitting jackpots and so forth, good for you. You're a good pinball player. Somehow I doubt that is the case though. Also, I dunno if you're trying to be funny or just plain dumb, but Sega's Final Fantasy for Neo-Geo? That's just... I dunno, I'm not sure there's a word for it.

I always thought pot was the Gateway drug...

Unfortunately, we are not as well equipped as Solid Snake.

Obviously if he's playing the games on the GBA system, he's probably already bought the games. So where's the problem?

As pointed out, it is Marvel vs. Capcom 2. The little LEGO guy is Kikin, who is from the Mega Man Adventures series on PSX.
Not to mention the pager was the size of a brick. That was pretty high technology in that era though.

So, they want to trade this one piece of IP for many pieces currently belonging to other people?
This is how they're so good at Monopoly...
"I'll trade you Baltic Ave. for Boardwalk and Park Place"
MUKOR RULES ALL GALAXIES.
Were you on AlterEgo, a board in VA?

I work at CompUSA, and our cash registers run on NT. They crash all the time. :(
