You need to buy an E-Reader and cards if you want some of the games. Or you can use a Pro Action Replay. But you don't get 2 Mario games and Zelda with the purchase of AC:(
I'll refer you to a certain game made jointly by Square and Nintendo called SUPER MARIO RPG. Have you played this game? If you haven't, you should. If you have played it, then you must either not like RPGs or not like Mario. If none of the above apply, please reply and tell me why it's not good.
FYI, a GTI doesn't handle as well as you would think. My friend totaled his 2003 by overestimating the handling, it has way too much body roll from the factory. You really need a 1-2" drop and possibly some swaybars to make it handle like it should. Have you heard of the R32 though? 240hp 3.2L V6, AWD shoved into a kitted-out GTI IV body. Coming to the States sometime in the near future, probably around $30,000 at launch. It's a not-so-direct competitor to the Evo and WRX STi.
Does anyone remember a different interview with one or some of the Tecmo guys? They alluded to stuff that's in DOAXBV that normal players haven't unlocked yet. Any details on this?
If you want the best example of hand animation looking good on real people, check out any of the wrestling games made by Aki, especially the WCW vs. NWO games on N64. Compare that to something like Smackdown for PS2, and it's still 100x better.
Hey Tecmo, care to bring back Tecmo Super Bowl with hand-drawn animation? I think it would make a football game move much better. Developers need to shoot a LOT of mocap data to make it look better than now.
You are way off base on this. First of all, yes they most likely pay sales tax. However, do you think illegal immigrants get a nice paycheck issued by ADC with the proper deductions? Illegal immigrants get paid with cash, especially the migrant landscaping/construction jobs.
Do you honestly think they don't draw on any social programs? What do you call driving on public roads? If I were a betting man, I would wager that you're not from California yourself. Any Californians care to comment on this issue?
Finally, your point about getting arrested = thrown out is laughable. Bill O'Reilly recently did a segment on his radio show about that. Did you know multiple states have laws that PREVENT law enforcement from contacting INS if they think that someone in custody is here illegally?
Come on now, you can't say that illegal immigrants are good for the country. Doesn't anyone realize that we need LESS people in this country? Illegal immigration does not help that, at all.
Shh! The reason Soulseek has been awesome is because it has a decent userbase but most people haven't heard of it. It's at the perfect equilibrium between popularity and content.
Not true. I convinced my grandma to buy some SCO stock way back when they were Caldera, and she would've made quite a bit of money at this point, but there's been at least 1 reverse split, 4 to 1. So instead of 100 shares, she now has 25.:\
I think your definition of RPG is wrong. By RPG, do you mean adventure/platform games like Mario Sunshine and Zelda: Wind Waker?
Nintendo hasn't had an excellent traditional RPG since Super Mario RPG on SNES. Paper Mario on N64 was decent I guess. One RPG in particular, Final Fantasy VII, jumpstarted the PlayStation brand. The fact that it didn't come out for N64 was the beginning of the "problem" years for Nintendo.
Furthermore, you say their other games are lacking depth. Super Smash Bros. Melee has a deep and rich fighting system that gets better as your skills get better. The new Mario Kart will add more depth to the kart formula by having 2 characters on each vehicle.
Nintendo's problems with the N64 is what has caused their so-called blandness with the GameCube. Just wait, Nintendo is making strides to regain a respectable position in the home console market. Mario 128 is supposedly a revolutionary game. If Mario 128 can do what Mario 64 originally did, and the GameCube2 has the proper marketing/games/features, Nintendo will be sitting pretty.
Obviously you don't play fighting games or check GameFAQs very much. Fighting game FAQs are sometimes the only way to learn all of the moves. Sure, Namco and other companies will give you that Command List when you pause. That's not anywhere near the depth of the FAQs written by dedicated gamers. I guarantee that Soul Calibur 2 will be ranked #1 in Most Popular on the front page when it comes out. Don't be ignorant.
or Harry Potter racing a pod or constantly doing all the over the edge magic tricks
Yeah, because flying a broom, levitating a cake, making fire out of thin air, slaying a serpent, those are all things that are possible!
How can you just blatantly attack IGN like that? Do you personally know the staff? Otherwise you can't make blanket statements like that. Let's face it, at this point Internet journalists are not as good as print guys. That is changing though. And aside from your personal attacks, it's not like they just made some shit up for no reason. Pretty much all of those rumors have some basis for them.
Starcraft: Ghost - Why couldn't this be Xbox-exclusive like Splinter Cell was? Exclusive for X months, then comes out for PS2 and GameCube. That would make a whole lot of sense to me, considering Microsoft's tactics.
Metal Gear Solid 3 - Had you read the article, there's a lot of evidence that points to the main character not being Solid Snake. Other websites have mentioned this too, IGN is not the only one.
IGN is not a marketing vehicle, although I imagine the ads are pretty brutal if you're not a subscriber (like me). They give bad games bad scores just like everyone else. Whether Dead Or Alive Volleyball deserved a 9.1 is a matter of personal taste, but their reviews are spot-on.
Besides the slight image problem and clunky-looking hardware, Xbox has trouble in Japan for one reason: Japanese developers. Microsoft seems to be having trouble understanding that the Japanese people want to play Japanese games. Buying Rare or Bungie or whoever is not going to help their Japanese marketshare.
I read Gaming Life In Japan every week on IGN and they post the last week's sales charts. There have been 2 titles that debuted in the top 10: Dead Or Alive Xtreme Volleyball and Capcom vs. SNK 2. Also, most weeks the PSOne outsells the Xbox in Japan.
What can Microsoft do to improve this situation? They need to spend even more money. They need a epic RPG, maybe get some anime creators to help like Akira Toriyama did with Chrono Trigger.
Another thing that goes for all 3 companies, where is the innovation? I want something different, I don't want another FPS or platformer. If anyone has played Wario Ware on GBA, you know what I'm talking about. Everyone I've let play that game absolutely loves it. And that's because nothing like it has come out before now. New genres already exist, it's up to designers to find them.
A lot of Game Boy Advance games allow you to play multiplayer with only one cartridge, but there are tradeoffs. For example, in Mario Kart, every player has to use Yoshi and there are only a couple of levels. Transferring all of the levels and characters through the link cable would take too long.
You should really think before you post. First of all, there are different models of the Clie. There could be a separate model for gaming. Second, why are you making blanket statements like that? PDAs are plenty useful for lots of things. Just because you don't find them useful doesn't make that true for everyone.
Personally, I think the grandparent post has it completely right. Why isn't the PSP a Clie with game controls? I would buy that in a second.
Ok, I can see the "abuse" if the guy/girl is shouting like Dom Joly. But what's wrong with talking in a slightly quieter normal voice on a phone? I hardly see how that "abuses" everyone in the vicinity.
This already exists. It's called Friendster. Basically, it works like 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon. You can only see people that you know through your friends. So let's say I'm trying to date Lurlene...
Homer knows Frink, who knows Snake, who knows Lurlene. Bad example, but if I didn't know Frink I wouldn't be able to see Lurlene's profile.
Why are they remaking Monaco GP? It seems like racing games are everywhere now, and it takes something special to get noticed with racing games: overall - GT3, crash mode - Burnout 2, etc. Maybe Sega is just using the name for recognition?
Tekken requires 4 buttons and some sort of control pad or joystick. The 4 shoulder buttons were just combinations of the 4 face buttons. Tekken in the arcade? 4 buttons.
Just so someone doesn't flame me for this, Tekken Tag requires 5 buttons I guess. But whatever
Johnny Student is sharing 500 gigs of dvd's from his PC, and Jane Student has every virus known to man on her PC
That's a nice gender stereotype you've got there.
No trolling or I'll boot you from #fishmongers! ;D
You need to buy an E-Reader and cards if you want some of the games. Or you can use a Pro Action Replay. But you don't get 2 Mario games and Zelda with the purchase of AC :(

Wouldn't that be a COREporation?
Marvel Super Heros (The most well balanced capcom fighting game)
Don't you think War Machine is a little bit broken...?
