OSX 10.4 Tiger. They have tried in the past to steal the limelight from big Apple releases, but they cannot match the buzz that The Steve can generate.
I remember when the released XP. It was greeted with a big, So What. I wonder if they have cut corners to get this out at this time?
Right now, Steve Jobs is one of the most powerful persons in Hollywood (Pixar) and has turned the recording industry upside down with iTunes and the iPod.
I am sure he has an Idea that Hollywood may not understand at first, but will have to follow. Ever since the early days of MPEG4 there was word that Jobs had his eye on delivering Hollywood content using Apple technology. The first plan was delivering content by satellite or cable to the theaters. Instead of celluloid, you would be viewing QuickTime movies.
I guess he is ready to cut out the theaters and go directly to the homes. Just go to the iTunes or maybe iMovie website and download a movie to your Apple/TiVo box.
as the format for the movie industry. Instead of film in a can, movies would be transmitted by satellite to theaters. Looks like it will be to the home to the Mac Mini.
It isn't just the outer appearance where their designs excel. Open up a G5 and look at it. Look at the new iMac G5. Look at how they put together their servers. Beauty is more than skin deep with Apple products.
Their price/performance numbers with their servers is as good as it gets.
They want electronic voter sign in. The books will be replaced by an electronic sign in. This will be connected to the voting machine. So much for a secret ballot, so much for comparing the number of voters to the number of votes cast.
BTW, the owners and main programmers for Diebold are not just Bush pioneers, but are also Dominionist. Google the goals of the Dominionist.
Real audio was a mature technology when they (NPR) first signed on for their service. It has served them well. If you want them to consider free alternatives, make a presentation to them.
Only a small fraction of the total revenues of NPR comes from the government. I bet we spend more tax dollars for bush's monthly campaigning on Air Force One than the NPR annual budget.
some did disown him, but some didn't. Can you tell which one's are still sending money to him?
Remember one of the bin Laden's is the head of WAMY. A charity with ties to terrorist groups, including al Qaeda.
He was one of the 140 + Saudi's allowed to leave the US will little or no questioning by the FBI.
Also Jonathan Bush is one of the top execs of Riggs bank which is under investigation for money laundering for Saudi and terrorist groups.
"federal regulators "called Riggs actions a 'willful, systemic violation of anti-money-laundering law.'" Washington Post
Prince Bandar, close friend of Bush is under investigation for possible ties to terrorist groups. His bank, is Riggs bank. He was also shown the secret war plans for Iraq.

Check out FINK for easy installation and managing UNIX software.
This is my favorite Mac software site, MacUpdate
Money for science is wasted money in bush's eyes. His sole purpose is to weaponize space, not to advance human knowledge.

In X11 you have Scribus, and just about anything that works on PPC Nix's.
Check out Fink to see what they have for the Mac
Donald Trump's hair do what it does.
I'd think they would use iBook technology, put it in a small box. If you want, buy another one or two and cluster them.

Of course I can always plug in my short wave radio to my computer and listen through the speakers.
NVU.com
NVU is released for Linux and OSX. There should be a Windows version too.
As mentioned above. I love it.
the patriot act too.
I would first check to see who MS backs for the presidential contest before I'd let them near my computer.
Will they make the iMac out of Aluminum, driving the design teams for other companies to slash their wrists.
The fireWire and USB2 Ports are there to be used.
