The concept that 'religion' and 'religious organizations' pay no tax is a fallacy. The pastor and employees still must pay income taxes, that is not exempt. Most people that go out and purchase stuff for a church pay sales tax unless they are carrying the tax exempt form...and it's a pain in the rear to do it for online purchases. The biggest savings is property tax, and many churches would never survive if they had to pay property tax
When you get your NY State Emissions test on your vehicle....does the inspector somehow trigger the software to activate? How has this gone unnoticed when every vehicle gets tested annually?
Welcome to the world of the stock market! This has nothing to do with the value of this game itself, but with investor confidence in a company. This release symbolizes the end of Nintendo's stubborn refusal to make games for anything but their own hardware. That is great news for investors.
The fact that they allow users to download old versions of TeamViewer is 1/2 the problem. I entertained a call from someone who was likely Pakistani that asked me to install an old version of TeamViewer from their website. Though I got on Linux and tried to follow their instructions...they didn't know what Linux was. I succeeded in wasting 30 minutes of their time.
I believe that honor goes to Virtual Boy... Which lends to another mention in the article that Nintendo isn't making a VR. Probably because they already learned that lesson.
Unfortunately, this study does not prove it's intended use case, which is to identify someone at some point in the future. They recorded a single event and used it to detect the same event in a pile of 500. Any decent programmer can do that. There's no evidence this will be accurate when taking a snapshot a year from when the baseline was taken.
It's amazing that a country so far north nearing the winter equinox would would be hit by a solar storm but not the rest of the world...particularly any in the southern hemisphere...so yes I will buy this Russian hacker theory.
Now you can use your contacts to change what your spouse looks like to you...your marriage is 1000% times better. Now I just need hearing aids to change the sarcastic tone into something more seductive.
I have 3 windows 7 PCs, none of which automatically upgraded. On to of that, the one I tried to intentionally upgrade, failed miserably. I ended up installing kodibuntu on that...much faster!
If my neighbor regularly launches explosives at me, why would I let them have drones with cameras to see where to shoot those missiles at? What does religion have to do with is?
I tried to upgrade to W10 on my media center, an it failed miserably. Even the Install from disk just sends me back to Windows 7 to do the failed upgrade. Needless to say, I switched to kodibuntu.
The 'facts' are not always truth, and the reviewers have their own bias. Here is a great example, the War of 1812. In the US they teach how England was the belligerent and that it was a war between the US and England, defending the US from England. In Canada, they teach that the US was the aggressor. In other parts of the world they teach that the US sided with Napoleon and include the war as part of the Napoleonic wars. Which is truth?
Where I am they chose SpineJS a few years ago, looked like a great language, easy, etc. After a few years, one thing we noticed was the lack of online help when you run into issues. It's just not that widely used. Rust is ranked 49th on Tiobe. Maybe it will be the next best thing, but if it isn't, you'll be stuck with something that has little community support.

She never wanted to run for president in the first place...they forced her into it because they thought she was their best hope...which is sad really.

Its the ballistic equivalent of your mom
given how complex we are...
XBox360 and PS3 were far superior to the Wii in technology, but the Wii destroyed the competition in sales. Your point is mute.

I don't play much either, too many real life things to get done. That doesn't mean I don't want to...

This story was published in 2014....why is it on /. today?
So does every other language...what's your point?
Does it save me a bunch of money on my car insurance?

Am I a programmer? Am I a Software Developer? Maybe I'm a Software Engineer! Maybe a software architect... honestly I can't tell anymore
lol why post an article about religion and then automatically score someone a -1 for talking about religion...lol
I don't come across many engineers who are conservative and religious. Most of them are atheist.

My coworker waived his severance because he wanted to keep his right to badmouth his former employer. Not sure his head is screwed on straight.
