    Unfortunately, you're a human. That means you won't always do it properly. And frankly I don't believe anyone with your attitude would actually give it a sufficient safety cushion anyway. The best that we can hope for is that WHEN you fuck up, you're the only one that gets hurt. Unfortunately it rarely goes that cleanly.

    Until you make the wrong call, and hit a pedestrian and cause serious injury. Or you force me to swerve in my car, hurting myself- or others. The rules are there for a reason. If you want to go do some extreme sport driving your bike down a mountain or something, feel free. You have the right to do things that risk your own life. You don't have the right to put others in unnecessary risk, which your attitude does.

    Not buying it? You shouldn't be buying the company's either. They actually have greater incentive to lie, and lower risk if caught.

    Seeing how insane cyclists tend to be, I'd be all for that. The most dangerous drivers on the road in the city are the bikers.

    In some ways its easier- you don't have the problems of obstructions on the road, heavy traffic, etc. You do still need simple collision detection, but far less than you do on a ground based system.

    Good for you. Nobody else gives a shit. I just want my food, I don't care if its cooked by a person, a robot, or if the cow jumps on the grill voluntarily. I don't go to the restaurant for interaction, I go because I don't want to cook. So long as its good, I don't care what prepared it.

    Programatically? Use a JobScheduler and its trivial. At a user level? That's what a calendar app is for. You have your choice of several dozen. There's no reason to have to have an app especially for that built in, download it if you want it.

    More than that- if you support N platforms on one code base, you're limited to the lowest common denominator of the three code bases.

    And even when you try it like web programming, you end up with N variants or compatibility libraries everywhere to fix bugs/implementation differences/lagging support.

    A car suddenly slowing to a crawl (or worse stopping) can be a dangerous situation in and of itself with other motorists.

    I'm saying the vast majority of them are, although you may find a few that aren't. SInce you're so certain that they aren't, you should have no problem finding say 100 of them that aren't. And by aren't necessary, it means that nobody was performing that action beforehand nso that a regulation was necessary to prevent it, or that the action itself is not harmful. I'll wait.

    Won't hold my breath though. I doubt you could actually find 5. Your type never can, you just like whining.

    No it isn't. That's due to the market. Malls are built because they can charge rent. Developers build downtown stores because they can charge rent- high rent. You don't see warehouses downtown because the owners can make more money tearing them down and building other things. There is absolutely 0 to do with regulations here. Its all supply and demand of the real estate market. And it is a FUCKING HUGE cost of running brick and mortar stores.

    Women who wear clothing without pockets wear purses which hold things and thus don't need to have it on their wrist in an almost unusable form. Thus there's still almost 0 market there. And as proof- the majority of existing smart watch users are not women, whereas they would be if you had something within a mile of being a valid point.

    Because that market is so close to 0 as to be non-existent. And the fact that most smart watches still need a phone to be useful. But I'm sure there's literally hundreds of people buying it for this reason.
