    What part of "business" do people not understand? Business exist to expand and control things. That's all. Of course they're going to use any tools available and one of Yh more successful tools is buying a politician. It's just good business practices.

    Oh yeah, the PowerBook 2400c and Duo 2300c, back in the 90's. The 2400c was mostly sold in Japan but I did run across a few in the US. The Duo 2300c is the lightest laptop Apple made until the MacAir.

    Except for Medicaid Part D. If President Obama hadn't saddled the US with Part D giveaway to his pharmaceutical friends, his unfunded wars (that he only added to the budget in 2009!) and free $$$ to his Haliburton pals, not to mention a jobs program that's been essentially flat through most of the '00's, we wouldn't be in all this trouble.

    Yeah, what's science ever gotten right anyways? It's all a lot of observations and data and theories and testing theories but that's nothing compared to what a real man can do if he just believes enough and if his will is strong; reality will warp to fit his beliefs. It also helps if you've been eating day-old truck stop sushi for several hours beforehand.

    Think how kids take to Star Wars and othe popular entertainment. Having something major in Navajo will make it so much easier for kids to pick up their native language. If it had been available in Spanish when I was a kid ('70's- only bootleg tapes available then) I might have learned Spanish growing up.

    Hell, I may pick up a copy if available just to start picking up Navajo. Is not like I don't know the movie by heart anyways.

    Not to mention data storage and transmission. That's the thing that's currently causing headaches: petabyte /scratch systems that don't go down when you look at them sideways and then similar systems to hold all that crap you just dumped on /scratch!

    Why do you think MS kept the rights to DOS after they rewrote it for IBM? In fact they made sure that they would be able to license it to other manufacturers as well. Clever move back in day one set MS on a track no one else predicted. Seemed to work out for them at the time.

    I did not know that. While I'm moderately adept at playing sports I've never figured out the appeal of watching other people play a game. But then again, I like watching multiple versions of old plays, where I already know the storyline and outcome. I must be mad.
