    You were at the wrong store in the wrong year. I remember plenty of titles in the Amiga section of Software ETC. from 86-89 Where I first saw Cinemaware titles. In fact, the Mac section was smaller than the Amiga game area by FAR (and there was a rush of Mac games at the beginning before they slid off a cliff in 1989-1990, Shadowgate, Dark Castle, Infocom games, Tetris, F16 Falcon, Crystal Quest, Leisure Suit Larry etc)

    Not online as we know it (although BBS sharing was available) - but I recall Amiga game publishers lamenting that they couldn't get revenue for their product due to the higher skew in piracy. I never recalled seeing an Amiga owner with a purchased game back in the 80s - ever.

    They already HAVE the infrastructure - AND - it's BEING USED to strip off and DUMP the helium.

    it's the same bullshit as when the refineries have "shortages" in the supply line as opposed to product. No one is capturing it - so "duh" shortage time. Perhaps you could capture it again at the nat gas processors.

    Perhaps you could get every natural gas producer in the county to STOP THROWING IT AWAY.

    They used to capture it and re-sell it. But when the govt got out of the helium business and liquidated their supply in Texas, the nat.-gas folks just started discharging it (it doesn't burn, so they strip it off the supply). It's been about 2 decades since they stopped capturing it. Now STFU about these stupid articles that haven't the faintest clue what they're talking about.

    Raise prices - jeezus fucking christ - you have no idea what's even going on in the supply chain and you want to enforce price controls...fucking morons.

    Seen lots of articles on new (orbital = real) space vehicles during the last 30 years - haven't seen anything fly except the shuttle. Fork sticking time, you may now STFU. American manned space program? You're beyond dead to me now. 1977 dead. Worse - because in 1977, the shuttle was still on schedule to fly. There's nothing concrete going on now apart from Boeing giving NASA some deliverables so their contract isn't a total bust and the lawyers aren't pulled out.
