I heartily concur! Gingko nuts - another Japanese favourite - are not as disgusting but definitely too exotic for my tastes. I'll eat pretty much anything else.

I know who Josephine Baker was but would not claim to have an extensive knowledge of history and the performing arts. General yes, extensive, no. Mighty geeky of you though to choose her as an example that I would guess many on this board have never heard of. I could be wrong of course. So do you get off my lawn or do I get off yours?!

  10. How would this be useful to a band? on One-Way Sound Walls Proven Possible · · Score: 1

I can imagine it might have many perfectly good uses, but how could it possibly be useful to a band? In a recording situation it would be disastrous! It is difficult enough keeping sirens etc. out of the recording area without actually unviting the sounds into the session.

  11. Cheaper than residential! on FAA Wants Your Opinion On Commercial Space Rules · · Score: 1

I would like to be able to rent commercial space and convert it to a residence but current code/regulations/zoning laws will not allow me to do so. Sorry? Did I misunderstand something?

  12. '0.039-inches'? on The World's Smallest Video Camera · · Score: 1

There is definitely something wrong here. Combining decimal with imperial? 0.99mm alone would have been more clear and perfectly sufficient.

  13. Re:Sportify does not benefit musicians on Spotify Challenges iTunes With iPod Support, Playlist Synching · · Score: 1

True, streams usually pay only a cent or less but where did you get the iTunes royalty figure? Depending on location I get up to $0.64 per track. If your 5 pence is correct at all, it must be that the record companies are keeping the balance of the royalty. I think your gripe should be with the record companies, not the didgital download and streaming services.

I watched my son play Street Fighter on a demo model 3DS at a Game Stop for a few minutes and could barely focus on the screen with the 3D effect on. I had to look away and found it hard to focus for a few seconds. I have no eye problems that I'm aware of. Is this perhaps more of a prototype that shouldn't have been launched yet until the 3D effect was improved and the battery life extended?
