    Wrong. If everyone went 90mph it would be far safer than having one guy going 65 and another going 90 on the same road. The point of speed limits is to get everyone going as close as possible to the same speed, then their speed relative to each other is miniscule causing interactions to happen more slowly and less frequenty.

    In reality, it will rarely be used as a HUD. We all know with a fair degree of certainty it will be used for things like email, video, texting, etc... Sure it may have the possibility of being useful, but that is NOT what it will be used for. Just like most cellphones in cars aren't being used for GPS and traffic allerts. People these days are just too distracted while they drive. Most people barely have enough intelligence to safely pilot a vehicle to begin with. Cellphones have made things much worse. Having things distractions constantly put into your line of sight will be ever worse. While people do have rights, on the road you holding the lives of others in the balance so some of your personal freedom takes a back seat. As a motorcyclist, I think texting while driving should get you a DUI and be pursed just as heavily.

    I bought the sucker yesterday and it doesn't work at all. Can't get past the launcher. If only I had just downloaded the pirated version I would have a working game.

    Its a law firm full of blood sucking lawyers who specialize in suing people. As much as we may think we know about law and how they are going to get their butts kicked, I'm sure they have some sort of angle or strategy here.

    Clevo based laptops typically come configured however you want and lacking whatever you don't want. No OS? no problem. You can also get em without hard drive, memory, chip, video card, whatever. They can be bought bare bones or with as much as you want in em. Also, the screen selection on them is usually much better. You can opt for much higher resolution than youll get in a dell etc...

    Install a third party start button program that also takes you straight to desktop. At that point you basically have windows 7, just dont hold your mouse cursor in a corner or that not so lucky charms BS appears. Wish there was a way to turn that off.

    Arrests are debatable like you said, police bias. Murder rates however are not. there is a corpse to show for it. The murder rate difference is MASSIVE, and I mean massive. Exponential. All the talk of gun violence in the US usually leaves out that fact when comparing us to other countries. For instance, our white murder rate is very close to that of most European countries with gun bans. One race is a bit of a ringer and throws our stats way off by being 13% of the population but accounting for over 50% of murder.

    They do this to make it not worth it to buy a phone outright... and then its oh well, might as well sign a contract and pay less for the same phone since I'm going to have to pay subsidizing data rates anyway. Yes it should be illegal. You can change the phones IMEI though so they can't recognize it. A long time ago I had a chinese smart phone and ATT treated it just like a dumb phone because of the IMEI.

    I've been running an e7200 overclocked to 3.8ghz for about the same time span. It still does fine except on poorly optimized console ports.

    Because the Xbox is a walled garden they can exploit for maximum proffit. They can carefully extract more money from you constantly as opposed to PC where they only get cash at OS or system purchase and later if you buy their games.

    Because the chance of accidents happening increases greatly if when vehicles are traveling at different speeds on the same road. The whole idea of speed limits is to get everyone going the same speed and properly set limits reflect what most people would drive normally on a particular road to further strengthen that.

    As the owner of a 70mpg 280lb motorcycle I commute on, my best option would be to take the motor out, sell the rest of the bike, and put the motor in another light bike rated for a mpg bellow the cutoff. Are the cops going to check my R1 to make sure its not missing 3 cylinders? I also don't think its far on usage as motorcycles do very little road damage with their lighter weight. Traditionally they've paid less usage because they use less gas, but unless there is an "Except motorcycles" clause, this would screw them.

    Guns don't need safety features, we just need to stop grooming human beings to become incompetent idiots. We dumb everything down, make people expect everything to be safe, treat grown adults like children... then they do stupid stuff and hurt themselves... like children. Uh oh, we better dumb everything down even more. Also, if you believe you should relinquish your gun rights to the US government, you don't deserve to be a US citizen. This is a country built on personal freedoms. The original idea was for the populace to be as well armed as the military so we could never be subjugated by our government. Asking the government to disarm us goes against everything this country stands for.
