I hate the TSA, and body scanners, and taking my shoes off as much as the next guy. But if the blogger was lying, then that is some pretty serious defamation of character that took place.
That's probably OK for the next couple of years, while the digital TV switch is recent enough that people are still giving/throwing away their analog TVs. But by 2014-15, the cost of adding the analog TV interface to every motherboard just for the tiny few which will find new cheap analog TVs will not be worth it.
Certain technologies tend to linger much longer in the third world where they cannot afford to throw away a 5 year old TV that still works.
The minor political movement surrounding your incarceration would likely not happen today. Hacking has become a state-sponsored activity, with China attacking Google and America/Israel attacking Iran.
Do you think your life would be a lot different if you were born 10 years later?
Seems like hacking/security would be a lot different if he were born 10 years later.

If it can indeed cover an area that large, how many users could a single AP support?
So, simple maths suggest that we're definitely not going to have reception if we're more than 62 miles away from the tower, and that doesn't take into account the curvature of the earth, the height of the tower, atmospheric distortions, etc.
but it does suggest the standard would allow for decent reception within a 30 mile radius. That ain't too bad.
I'm still trying to figure out how anyone can stop a person from exercising their Freedom of Speech Rights? What's next, the U.S.S.R.'s version of the legality of Thought Crime, but applied to U.S. cititzens?

Unfortunately, we don't have all of the data, nor do we have the capacity to properly put it together and determine what risks and rewards, exactly, are at stake. Perhaps it is riskier to avoid mild risks in the short term, which help train you to deal with greater risks in the long term?
A society's advance is measured by risk reduction, so stuff can be achieved without a large proportion of people being harmed in the process.
Nope. I am just playing the same trick that has been played a lot by politicians, media and corporations. What's wrong using the same logic now to differentiate and highlight the bigotry? Oh I see - you don't like it when it's against your argument.
If you live by flawed logic, you die by flawed logic.

as it's a UK thing (and the price I've always seen was 25 pounds, not 25 US dollars) the price in Poland should be the same+shipping
Go to the website: http://www.raspberrypi.org/
Everything is in dollars.
So, at that point we are basically selling a computing core, ram, and some storage for $25.
Actually, I believe the only storage is via the SD slot, with no card included.
It's just an RC airplane painted vaguely like a seagull. I don't see what the big deal is.

Look closer: it also happens to be the touch pad for the laptop.
Slashdot is news for NERDS. Nerds tend to like rational thought.
Is being rational and being moral the same thing?

That would rock!
Yes, by definition.
Apple has stated repeatedly that
computer mice need only one button and no scroll wheel
the Power PC is a faster and better platform than x86
Apple is not going to release a netbook

Wouldn't you say "The PS3 has a good shot of overtaking the Xbox 360?"

Huh? What successful business doesn't have a management training program or, at the least, an assistant manager/team lead for on-the-job training?

It does not correlate at all. The important factor is surface size. Meaning many ripples == brilliant, no ripples = dumb.
That was a very smooth observation.
