I honestly have to agree with this comment. Yes, they're not the cheapest. But for the type of service and support I get for 2 iPhone 4, 1 Samsung Galaxy and one Samsung feature phone for the youngest (she's 11, not getting a smart phone, I don't care if all the "cool kids" have one or not) I have no complaints with Verizon.
Not to try and side-track the overall discussion too much, but my Roomba was the single best investment I have made. Wife wasn't real happy with the purchase, given that vacuuming was to be my given "chore".
This is exactly how I ended up in my current position. Changed career paths (was in broadcasting, didn't enjoy it, love applications development) and had that question asked by the HR drone. I made the department head laugh with my reply. Now I couldn't be happier.
This has been my experience as well. My wife's line just came up for upgrade from her original Motorola Droid and after upgrading her line is still on the unlimited data plan.
Felt it here in the northern panhandle of West Virginia. Thought I was going crazy at first, until some people started hitting me up on our instant messaging system asking me if my house was shaking. Talked to people from here all the way to and including Pittsburgh. Freaked me out a bit. Never felt one before.
I just had roughly the same experiences recently with Green Lantern. People in the theater would just not shut the fuck up, and the picture was ever so slightly out of focus, just enough to really bug me. Would much rather prefer watching movies at home.
NetFlix needs improvement. The delay between a movie hitting disk and being available for streaming (which I'm guessing has a lot to do with the content producers agreements) needs to go away.
I have purchased quite a bit of music off of iTunes personally, but it has been things like the Beatles ($149 for the whole collection? yeah, I can do that). Most new music isn't worth it to me anymore. I stopped pirating years ago, because I wanted to set an example to my kids that worthy content does deserve to be purchased.
One of my co-workers just bought a phone with 3D. His take, and I have to share his opinion, is that "3D is a neat feature to goof off with when you first get it, but after a while you just really want it to go away."
Honestly, it just seems like a way for the big consumer tech companies to milk money out of people who have no sense.
I'm going to have to go with you on this one. It could also be just a passenger with the super power of causing an untraceable death in those whom the TSA have wronged with their lack of a happy ending.
This is exactly what my company is doing. My HP Elitebook 8730w is running an XP image until everyone is satisfied that rolling out Windows 7 isn't a bad thing.
All of this assumes that I actually care about seeing the rest of the people in the office. My entire team telecommutes, and not a single one of us want to go back to the way it was. We have instant messaging, email, telephone, numerous conference calls, and we've built up quite a bit of friendship with this setup. We have a running scoreboard of who cracks the best jokes on each other, so I don't feel that the need to be right next to someone is actually all that useful.
Just look at MMOs, the ability to build friendships has very little to do with physical location compared to everyone else.
I wouldn't have been polite about it. Even at that age I was a prick to those who deserved it. There is a line between respect for authority and just plain you can go to hell in my book.

I always thought of wrestling more as a soap opera. With more tights.

Maybe that's what the sunspot interference is but we're not intelligent enough to decipher the message?
More than what is on the outside.

Maybe he loved his work so much that he had his name changed. Which would make him not right in the cranium area.
With Steam, though, you knew what you were getting into when you purchased the game from their service. Sony are just being assholes.

Well, as long as they're ill-tempered. That's the important bit.

You're still breathing? Not sure I could get away with that...
If it's that horrible song, maybe they could patch some talent into it.
Hey, yes we d......ok, yeah, you got me there.

I don't know, I kind of like it. Could lead to even more ridiculous sounding arguments among friends. Probably seems funnier in my head though...

Am I the only one that had a vision of Tom Hanks staring at part of a port-a-john quizically going "Bakersfield?"
Probably the only one I will watch, and that is only because it was filmed primarily in my hometown here of Weirton, WV.

But....rules 1 and 2....
