The F-series is pretty much the construction industry in my part of Canada at least. If you look around at a construction site, either residential or commercial, you will see a variety of cars for the workers that don't need to carry much and a bunch of F-series pickups if they need to haul stuff. Mostly they are F150s but some larger models too.
If Tesla could come out with the equivalent of an F-150 with a large towing capacity the market would be quite large.
It would be interesting if they could make it larger and the equivalent of an F-350. Some ambulances are built on that. An electric ambulance would be a decent market and ambulances could charge when dropping off patients.
Monopolies are great for democracy. Politicians only have to go to one place for their bribes^H^H^H^H^H donations and they so much more free time to not read the bills they vote on.With all of that extra time they can help the economy by going to restaurants or getting a game of golf in. Monopolies are wonderful!
And how do any of those hacks get you directly to BigBoxCo without paying?
Option 1 is the service itself and not a hack. Option 2 would take you to other places first in order to get the free ride so it would be Home -> Tour of Neighbourhood -> McDonalds -> Starbucks -> BigBoxCo
If you tried Option 3 too many times then you would just not get picked up anymore or always have to pay for your rides. And the second time you ask to go to BigBoxCo if you opt for the free option it will take you to someplace else or the second car won't come because the system knows the first car is there waiting for you. The vehicles wouldn't be completely independent.
I do agree with you about having advertisements in the car. That was my first thought when I read the headline. Make it somewhat interactive so that the person or people can't just tune the ads out. If they don't want the ads then they can pay for the ride.
But taking people all over the place sounds like a terrible waste of resources. Even if the cars are electric society doesn't have a huge surplus to throw away like that.
Also iOS needs to come out on an annual basis in order to support the new features in the new iPhones and iPads that come out every year. It would be great if Apple could move away from the annual release cycle of the phones until they had the features working properly.
In the boxes Amazon has used paper for taking up the extra space, not bubble wrap or any other products made of plastic. So I've been folding the boxes up and putting them in my recycling bin. I have to throw the padded envelopes out in the garbage because there no facility to deal with them (paper glued onto plastic).
While it may be better for the environment by being able to get more packages into a truck or container with the envelopes at the end of life they are worse. I can re-use a box easily, recycle it, or worst case mulch it. The envelope is going to the landfill.
Just so that they can spend more money to detain you, give you a trial, make you serve a prison sentence for overstaying your visa, and then send you home at taxpayer expense. All instead of just letting you leave on your own.
Yes, because the GOP are doing such a great job at the moment lowering the tax rate massively for their rich donors while screwing over the poor and middle-class (what's left of it). The president is a uncaring racist who doesn't understand basic economics, is trying to make as much money while being president as possible, is going around destabilizing the world, and only really wants to get rid of all immigrants and start a war with North Korea.
But Bernie, who wants national health care, is the one who is nuts in your opinion./s
I think that's what they did with the Government of Canada's payroll system. It's called Phoenix and hundreds of thousands of people are having problems with the system. It's been having problems for over a year.
You're assuming the primary mission of SLS is to put stuff into space instead of distributing money to a large number of voting districts so that politicians can brag about bringing high-tech space jobs to that area.
It's the same as the F-35. The fact that the plane actually flies (well, most of the time it does) is just a bonus.
Just tell Trump that Obama started this (running services and storing data on the cloud) and he'll make it so that not even the government meteorologists can say the word cloud.
Will the administrator who doesn't care about securing the server properly really care about setting up the permissions to access the data on the cloud?
Not quite the exact situation as no IT experience but in the mid 2000's the government department I was working in got a new CEO and he came to see my group of about 30 people (we made and maintained the web apps for the department from Apache up and had the graphics artists too). One of the first things out of his mouth was that he had never used the Internet and didn't know anything about it. Later on in the meeting he called up all interchangeable cogs and meant it as a compliment.
Both major parties in the US are beholden to the corporations. It's just a matter of degree. The GOP is much worse than the Dems. But don't think that voting for the Dems would be putting in a citizen friendly government. The Dems were trying to reduce corporate taxes when Obama was in office but "only" down to the 25% to 28% range instead of the current 20% the GOP is trying to get it down to. There is no other party in the US that is going to get into power and has your interests at heart.
Good luck with that. They'll probably delete the app and make a new tab in the Music App for it. In the process break everything else about the app while incorporating it and somehow make playing music on your own device even harder because it's all about streaming and the cloud.
It's not as simple as that. I have many issues that I care about, some more than others. When trying to decide who to vote for, or which party more correctly, it's trying to weigh up how they compare to my weighted list of issues. The party that best matches my list gets my vote. That means I'm going to have to sacrifice some issues on election day but that doesn't mean I no longer care about them.
Referendums aren't the answer. They're costly, people aren't going to research the topic, and you aren't always going to get the result you want (Brexit). The only real thing you can do is hope to elect competent officials who will appoint people that aren't beholden to corporations and will do the right thing for the citizens. Having the ability to recall a politician who is doing a bad job would certainly help too.
You're going to be stuck with this because businesses are going to want everything changing every time there's a change of government. It's not just net neutrality but health insurance (I can't say health care because all it did was make you buy insurance) and taxes (which also included a lot of other bad stuff such as drilling in ANWR, making getting your PhD a lot less easy). Then there's the stuff that Trump himself is doing with immigration, how he handles foreign crisis (including those of his making), and shooting his mouth off on Twitter.
Americans are being very patient as their rights are being eroded and their future is being taken away from them. There is no sign of revolution or change. The protections to stop another financial crisis are being taken away. You are going to lose net neutrality. You've lost the EPA. A massive tax reform is about to happen to favour the rich and large corporations at the expense of the poor and middle class....
So that money can not get distributed to the artists. And when it does it gets distributed by sales percentage so it doesn't accurately pay the artists that are "hurt" by the pirating.
Then there are the businesses and people that don't pirate anything yet are still forced to pay the tax, sorry levy. Businesses that use a lot of media are put at a disadvantage and punished for something that they don't do.
Small-time bands just love this because they are paying extra on the discs they sell at gigs which goes to the big name performers. How is that in any way fair?
Now you want to add on a fee to Internet connections which is just as unfair as the levy on media. How about no way. I see the Internet as a way to try things out and if I like something enough that I'd view/listen/read it again then I'll purchase it or support the artist. But don't make me support artists I hate by forcing me to pay a tax, sorry levy.
It seems to be a requirement in order to run a department for Trump. The head of the EPA didn't think it should exist because it hurt business too much. The head of the housing department came out with a bunch of statements against social housing. So not trusting your department would make you qualified to run it.
Don't put down the next US president. After he gets out he has plenty of time to get a campaign going for 2024.

Are peoples' lives really that shallow now?
Yes, and they have been that shallow for a while now. Or else the Kardashians wouldn't have made all that money.
And how do any of those hacks get you directly to BigBoxCo without paying?

Yes, I always go to CNS News when I want to get my biased facts to support the right.

The same way a $400M acquisition is larger than a $3+B one for Beats (though I try to forget that they made it).... bad journalism?
In June 2016 John Oliver bought up $15M of medical debt and forgave it. There's details and a clip in this Guardian article.

Just make it with a smaller screen and you won't need such a large battery.
