    But if he's worried about tracking immigrants then once every two months would probably be too far apart for him since that would let someone get quite a distance and settled in a new place during that time. You could get pretty far in a week. Guess it all depends on how paranoid he's being.

    That's funny. Poor cat though.

    I never understood why people let their cats roam about. What's the point of having a cat if you kick it out of the house all day? I've had a number of cats in my life and they have never been outside (except in a carrier to go to the vet). They have been perfectly happy being indoors and a lot safer too.

    Or if you aren't responsible enough to pick up after your dog then you can't have a dog anymore. It wouldn't be for one or two offenses but for an ongoing problem. There's an owner in my neighbourhood that regularly lets their dog go on the sidewalk. And from the evidence remaining it is a very large dog. This has been going on for over a year now. I don't think this person is responsible enough to own a dog. It's not a matter of going out once or twice and forgetting to bring a bag. They are just letting their dog do its business anywhere and leaving it.

    Well, since Canada as a nation didn't come into being until 1867 no Canadians could have burnt down the White House in the first place. So, yes it was some British troops that the Americans were fighting in 1812. And a bunch of locals that kicked their asses back across the border.

    The NBC version of WMD is the military definition while the newer definition that includes things like a pressure cooker bomb is used by law enforcement. I don't like the law enforcement definition either as it captures some relatively small bombs. I wonder if they created this to add another charge because if you blow up an IED (or something else) then they will charge you for any deaths, attempted deaths, and destruction of property.

    Why would someone need to image my backyard? I'm in a suburb and there's nothing there worth sensing. Even if there was they could fly the drone over the 350 foot limit.

    If it was for a farmer then they would have their permission and could fly lower so that's not a problem.

    I was reading the article and they get people through the system faster by cutting out "extra" courses in high school such as science and history so they only concentrate on English, Math, Technology, and workplace learning in the freshman year. WTF?!?! It's bad enough that they are cutting out the other classes. How are you supposed to learn what you like if you don't get exposed to all of these different things? But what the hell is workplace learning?

    You would also want the state and country to capture out of state drivers. And also the expiry on the plates, if available.

    The camera is on a car so you need to keep track of the location when the picture was taken.

    So then you are going to be using up more and more land to sequester carbon temporarily for the CO2 that we continue to emit and for the plants that die. There is a limit to the amount of land that we can use for this.
