    I for one am feed up with this shit. I know I will get flamed, but why not have your ISP limit the number of SMTP transactions to a "reasonable" amount without your expressed request for more. Say 1000 SMTP messages per day per IP for the average user. If you want more, then you simply ask for a higher limit. This would surely throttle zombies. Corporations would be exempt.

    A corporation's sole function is to make money for it's share holders, and to do it within the law. Compare the number of drugs made by corporations to those made by the public sector. Yes the public sector does a lot of research which benefits the drug companies, but R&D, drug studies, manufacturing, and lawsuit "taxes" COST A LOT.

    Simple: Create a standard (ISO) that is so complex it will be very difficult for competitors to implement. Then market it to every country/state thinking of switching to ODF. "Look, you don't have to switch from MS software as we fully support an ISO standard. There is no vendor lock-in here!"
