Because previously the parks locked the gates during shutdowns. They left them open to avoid the bad image of locked gates, this is the side effect of that stupid decision.
I got this installed yesterday tried a couple of things and it failed both times while Google got them right. It is quick but it really isn't very accurate at all.
Google Glass was doomed the second the term Glasshole was coined. They need a complete rebranding for these to be successful. I also think they should have promoted them as utilitarian objects instead of fashion items.
Because at the end of the day you still have to break the will of your opponent and have them do something they wouldn't ordinarily do. Chances are 'you lost at rock em sock em so you now need to handover your port' wouldn't be overly persuasive.
This doesn't surprise me in a country where their cars continually ding a bell when you hit 100 k/mh (62mph) hope they don't bother offering the option here.
Tivo invented the DVR, period, and Dish infringing on their patents almost put them under. This is the whole reason we have patents, to let the guy that came up with the idea profit from it without being put under by big pocketed copycats. I'm really glad TiVo won this case.
See it wasn't a niche peripheral, you're showing your age, or lack of it. On the C64, Amiga, Sinclair Spectrum etc in the 80s the joystick was THE way to control things.
What is the device supposed to do with the information without knowing the context? Am I stressed because of the call I've just taken, the news story I've just read or my inability to use a specific app. Neat tech but good luck trying to use it to do anything useful.

The competing camera from Nokia, the Ozo is twice as much, 60k.
But only when you don't know they are women...
This isn't just Porsche though, Audi Q5 & Q7 sold a lot of TDI models as did VW with their Touraeg.
Isn't all that information readily available via OBDII anyway? What's the issue with getting a direct feed of it?

This wouldn't deter the psycho's who go on shooting spree's though would it?

Between globalization and robots it appears the golden age of leisure* is closer than ever.
* Where golden age of leisure = mass unemployment and food riots

While the body count isn't anywhere near as high both World Wars were convincingly won much quicker than the two we are currently embroiled in.
Why would you care if there are breaks or not when you can just hit pause whenever you feel like it?
Tivo collects data on when you pause/skip and aggregates it for use by advertisers, and has done this for years now.
These guys are supposedly just about ready to bring it to market http://probiora3.com/
It has nothing to do with the Dish lawsuit, you could never get Tivo on the Dish system.
The issue is that they lost the contract with DirecTV when Murdoch bought it and started pushing the DVR that his other company(NDS?) owned and built.
They didn't patent rewind/fast forward, and if you think that's what this is about perhaps you should actually read the patent.
Not at all, but the DVR was not an obvious invention.

It sits in line with the waves so pointing out to sea, not across the coast line. It's designed to ride with the waves, not block/catch them.
You are right as can be seen in the Gizmodo article
Use the first few words from a favorite book of hers. Then all she has to do is look in the book if she forgets.

It's both, a litre of water weighs 1kg.
