Oh yea that works good until you have 30TB of data. We ran an image storage solution for a company, we had 12 NAS devices each with 5TB of storage. 6 for production data, 6 for backups. If someone had hacked us and deleted all that data we'd have been screwed, luckily it was attached to a server that had no access to the internet directly, so they'd have had to get through 2 firewalls and ssh key only access to the the front ends from our office and a few other remote locations (ie my house). I never want to manage that much data ever again.
actually you are wrong. If a game you bought is defective and you have the receipt (and it's within I think 30 days) the store must replace the game for the same game. It's the law.
Not to mention most video game stores also have plans where you can sell your games and get credit towards purchase of a new games, so some used games that cost $20 may only really cost you $10
Sure my sleep schedule will probably still be out of whack, but if you set up meetings so you get x hours of sleep before you have to be up and then the clock changes giving you less time to sleep before you have to get up,
Most banks are open until at least 7pm one day a week. Most banks have drop off boxes to drop off money, there are also ATMs for depositing money. This may have been the case 15 years ago, but there are plenty of options for construction workers and farmers and anyone who does business during daylight that this excuse is now invalid.
It's not just about setting the damn clocks, it's about messing up sleep schedules, having to re-adjust how you deal with international customers. My girlfriend lives in Japan, and for me it sucks to have to adjust twice a year.
It's very inconvenient for those of us who deal with people internationally on a daily basis, messing up sleep schedules. It's a pain, I'd like to see it go away.
If you have a bag you have to go to the counter. If you want to carry it on you give it up at the counter, it is then there waiting for you at your gate after it has gone through security on it's own. Now there is nothing to search at the security checkpoint except the person. The only thing that you are allowed with you is your boarding pass, id, and for women as "SMALL" purse.
OK, so tell me then, what can I do about it? I'm not a citizen of their country, I have no say in how they run their country. What am I suppose to do. I'm not going to give up going to visit friends and see places I want to see. I don't plan on committing any crimes while I'm there, so it's not like it's going to affect me all that much.
What is so corrupt about a government trying to protect it's citizens from non citizens? I don't really agree with how they are doing it, but what do you really think I can do about it?
*grumble* I leave for japan in a month for 2 weeks, I really don't like this, but I love visiting Japan, and guess not visiting would be worse to me.:-(
Sometimes you have to make sacrifices when you enjoy something or someplace.:-(.
Well that depends on if you get out of the car and park it or not. Airport parking is expensive, even for 15 minutes. If I can get a call saying "I'm hear" and then circle the arrival area a couple times it's a lot cheaper...

You apparently don't deal with law enforcement too often. I have friends who are cops, they are dumb as brick sometimes.

I was going to say all my cameras have the make model and serial number built right into exif data of every photo I take.
ouch.....

No worries, my friend's cat is the same way. My cat bugs me for food all the time so that doesn't affect me too much. lol

I would have thought that the British would have learned not to piss off their citizens in the late 1700s. ;-)
*yawn*
Nothing to see here...
I don't know I have a hard enough time finding my CDs/iPod when I misplace them, nevermind MicroSD cards. Way too fricken tiny.
If I had mod points I'd mod this one funny because of the pillow. :-D
I on the other hand was trying to be funny, as Sometimes I think this group gets WAY too serious.
oh be quiet you lunatic ;-)
my thoughts exactly
put a mac mini and a 15inch LCD monitor in there as well. ;-)

I wish I had mod points, that made me laugh...
Read the article. Look at the diagram... It's all done with satellites not cell towers.
