    "Content relevant to your interrest" normally include stuff you agree or disagree with, but on a particular subject.

    You'd think that, but that's not how people are. "Their interest" extends beyond the theme, into the narrative. A flat earther wouldn't find stuff on Globular Earth within their interest (nor vice versa). Once a person has decided on how things are, they actively, even on a subconscious level, seek out confirmation of said belief.

    Because they can't. As in some channels subsidize others. So while they could possibly do piecemeal, it wouldn't be ${cost of bundle} / ${number of channels} per channel

    The only version of Internet Explorer Microsoft even supports anymore is IE11, and that's only through security updates.

    I think it's a mix and depends on the person. Years ago when Netbooks first came out, they were preinstalled with Linux and many users returned them because their (windows) software didn't work with it.

    How would returning something work? The company would no longer have any evidence you purchased it from them.

    In the same way we did it before the corporate takeover of the internet. It's called a sales receipt.

    Which the buyer used to just walk into the store and...hmm..where do they go if it's online only?

    or companies would be forced to keep only what information is required to complete a transaction, then dispose of it once that transaction is completed. yeah marketing would take a hit, but that's probably a net benefit to society.

    How would returning something work? The company would no longer have any evidence you purchased it from them.

    It's fitting how in the first sentence you say:

    and then proceed to be an example of that, blaming all the "normal people" for ruining things, but not yourself of course.

    Even if they chose another it wouldn't matter. Any browser on iOS must use the same engine has Safari. Chrome et al on iOS? Basically just skins.

    Back when Microsoft had to do it we still had 4 major browser engines. Now we are down to 2 and most browsers are Chrome skins.

    Crazy stupid revisionist history right there. Google didn't write a browser themselves they simply used webkit and added their own "chrome". Google's contribution is literally the name of their browser.

    Chrome forked off of Webkit to make Blink back in 2013, so there has been quite a bit of work done since Chrome's initial release. If you want to discount all the work that goes into something that was a fork of something else, well then I guess all the work on WebKt doesn't count as it was forked from KHTML.

    It's gotten worse though. I don't speak out of experience, just what I catch in this kind of outlets (and Jon Oliver). There is someone who can fix it, but he doesn't seem willing. That person is appointed by the Orange Prime.

    Seriously, time is relative. We have fricking time zones literally 15 minutes apart in areas. We have major confusion when you call somewhere and they say they are closed at 5:00 and you look at your watch and go, but it's 3:00 how can you be closed? P.S. going out into space or anywhere where our narrow view of the date/time exist will only make this worse (like Mars)! Stop the madness now!     So you propose what exactly? Everyone's business hours are that of 9-5 UTC? I'm sure people in the west coast would love starting their day at the equivalent of 2AM.
